All things considered, it should be launched at $399 max for it to be somewhat considerable. Anything above it will just make it DOA.

Same thing on the cpu side, 888 doesnt have gb6 graph but if i take it like 7sg3 is as efficient as 7+g3, 888 only needs 3 more watts to match it on gb5 at 3k score, so 6 watts.

So 11-13w only needed to be cooled to overtake those 7sg3 and below. 8100 was as fast as 888 anyway, it was probably too costly to use.

To reach 3500 GB score it needs over 10W at same time Likes of D8100 (which use 5nm) needs around 5W, that's only Cpu, same to gpu it needs around 6-7W to match D8100 at 4W.

So for it to be relevant you need to cool over 15w.

Ipad air m2 has average 16w sustain for 30 minutes, it only gets to 45c. Xiaobai 25c ambient tests. Games wont be doing full utilisation to reach those 15w cpu + gpu of 888.

We dont know what this tab is gonna do, i wont just base it off their phone.

                    Deck soc max at 15W,

Modern flagship soc from sd 888 to 8 elite all of them use more than 10W cpu alone, if you include both Cpu and Gpu to get peak score from benchmarks we are talking around 15-30W power consumption no tablet can sustain that even gaming one with active cooling.

Also infinix can't even COOL soc like Dimensity 1200 in their gaming phone (peak power 8W).

Maybe the chipset will have better optimization since it would be on a tablet 👀.

SD888 has a terrible heat management, but still better than the usually mediocre chipsets Infinix uses in most of cases. Even so, it's no fair to use a 5 years old chipset on new devices and ask for flagship prices in 2025.
