Titled Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7's full dimensions leak, the folding screen will have smaller bezels

These aren't leaks more say guesses. Leaks imply that there are from an official source, the leak is either "Authorised" or accidental.

First, it is better described as unverified, so don't get bent out of shape (the source has gotten it so glaringly wrong in the past, as KNOT RITE... )
Also, we will have a drip drip of leak up to release.

Oppo Find N5 did take the opportunity to increase battery 2025. Samsungs 4400mAh is more than adequate & on par with Oppo 4805mAh prior to Find N3. Will it stay at 4400mAh? IDK

Guess what? I have a URL in support of the above https://www.gsmarena.com/oppo_find_n5-review-2800p3.php

I will be the first to buy it if any fone Manufacturer will release a another great fone like the former Huawei Mate 20x which had 7.2inch which had a much Bigger actual viewable screen when viewing videos and media content than even any large Foldable to date and no issues with the silly aspect ratio which just defeats the purpose when viewing videos cotent which has BIG black bars meaning smaller video size and could easily fit a 8000Mah battery with silicon with S-Pen and called it the Note Ultra. Now that will be a monster fone with no battery anxiety, fragileness of foldables or crease and biggest viewable content for videos. I will buy it in a heartbeat.
Huawei Pura X already has a near perfect ratio of 16:10 aspect ratio, great for video content and beats any of those skinny aspect ratio of todays flip fone by a mile, just wish we can have the same for Large foldable too if they want to continue to make these large foldables as it makes no sense for media consumption; you get a much bigger useable inner screen, even the S25 Ultra has similar sized as the Z fold7 inner screen unfolded, with its HUGE blackbars top and bottom wasting all the extra space unuseable. See it for yourself at a store for videos when unfolded it just looks awful for videos.
If none will make one at 7.2inch candaybar fone then I wish Huawei/Honor or any one of the chinese manufacturer will make one, with at least get 18.5: aspect ratio I refuse to buy any large foldable until they get the aspect ratio right :((

If Samsung would have upgraded the battery and charging speed, this would be the king of foldables no doubt. It seems like it'll be really good, but certain specs are still holding it back compared to the competition.

Sam, 10 May 2025Crazy. Can't wait.Me too. I got the fold6 and expected to keep it for years but the fold7 looks to be quite the upgrade so if the early bird offers and trade in deals are good I'll be quite tempted.

L-Arcangelo, 10 May 2025why is a 3.9mm thicknes useful??? a under 5mm one with a decent 5500mAh would be way better. I... moreBecause Honor, Oppo, Huawei and others do not make the Silicon carbon material for their batteries. They license the technology.

Samsung could have likely licensed the technology as well, but they have their own silicon anode material they developed from the ground up. If they were just creating these batteries for phones like the others, I think we would have seen it long ago. These batteries are being used for other electronics too.

I'm looking forward to getting the Fold 7 if all the leaked specs I have seen are accurate. After using the Fold 5 since it was first released in 2023, it looks like Samsung has sorted out the main issues I have experienced. The Fold 5's cover screen dimensions are far too narrow, which makes it quite difficult to type when you don't want to use the much larger main display, and would prefer use the cover display just to quickly send or reply to a message, make a note or reminder, set a timer, or use one of the many other quick options or shortcuts that don't require the much larger inner display, so the wider cover display on the Fold 7 which is have the same width as the S25

why is a 3.9mm thicknes useful??? a under 5mm one with a decent 5500mAh would be way better. IMHO a stupid approach. How's it possible that HONOR can make a 4.4mm V3 with a 5150mAh Battery and Samsung, who owns Samsung SDI, can't do it?

Totally agreed, using the same 4400Mah in 2025 is a joke, no use to have the thinnest profile when the fone cannot even last a full day for moderate user.
They have been using the same battery from 5 years ago since Fold2, Samsung's refusal to change is their downfall, looks like I have to wait another year before I will upgrade my Fold4 :((
