rick.1, 12 Sep 2013apple copied this thing from a android phone of 2011 Motorola atrix.. So,?
alienbats, 12 Sep 2013its already copied over from Motorola Atrix from 2011.To copy something means to take an idea like for like and apply it to one's own product. How is the fingerprint scanner implemented by Apple anything like the crap that Motorola introduced? You guys are just unreasonable.
don't worry about losing your finger , your fingerprint is already printed on the phone surface , they just need to use gloves and the right tools
What they're NOT telling you is that fingerprints are secretly transmitted to the NSA....
this technology was already brougt by motorola we all know that, but whathappens in support of apple obama will veto the motorola finger print patent and apple will get o the patent ............................................
SamSuck, 12 Sep 2013Apple must patent this before other's manufacture (read my nickname) copy their idea ;)Apple has already patented the "innovations" on the new iPhone.
Most important is the A7 processor. Apple lawyers will sue the life out of you if you even dream of using a 64 bit processor on a smartphone/(gadget with round edges)/(gadget starting with an i)/(gadget which uses glass and aluminium).
If you are counting, don't count above 63, Apple will send your fingerprints to NSA, deduct $2 billion from your account, and will have drones firing gps guided sabots sent at you.
rick.1, 12 Sep 2013apple copied this thing from a android phone of 2011 Motorola atrix.. Wrong, phones and PDAs have had bio-metric scanners before the atrix
Seriously, why are you all focusing on the fact that someone (Motorola) beat Apple to fingerprint security? Is it because of the fact that Apple seems to be associated with 'innovation'? You'll shout out any victory that beats the iPhone won't you? Sorry to say it but you Android fans are a bit too obsessed with Apple stuff--seeing as it's the standard that almost every reviewer compares all other phones with. Just sayin'. Craaaazy.
Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013Just imagine if someone steal your shiny iPhone 5S and later will comeback to take your finger... morethey just chop their finger the moment they steal the phone. thank God I don't have to worry about my finger being chop away.
SamSuck, 12 Sep 2013so s-voice is genuine idea from sams***?So Siri is genuine idea from Apple?
SamSuck, 12 Sep 2013Apple must patent this before other's manufacture (read my nickname) copy their idea ;)crapple is the one like to steal & copy others technologies and end up pointing others for copying them? Even the thunderbolt connector were not invented by crapple but by Intel instead.
SamSuck, 12 Sep 2013Apple must patent this before other's manufacture (read my nickname) copy their idea ;)Agree. If Moto skipped that step, than crApple should definetely patent this s#!t, so that no other manufacturer can use it, thus, we'll all be safe. :)))

SamSuck, 12 Sep 2013Apple must patent this before other's manufacture (read my nickname) copy their idea ;)lol !!! apple can not put a patent on it because it is Motorolla who first introduce this option :-)
Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013You don't understand it at all if you compare this to Atrix and old HP laptops. Please enlighten me with your genius then, because at the end of the day there are i think 2-3 types of reader to capture ur print but the end result is the same, its a fingerprint reader, it is nice how its been implemented into the home button for sure and tech has moved in from the atrix and the toshibas and hp laptops I owned back in 2008 but we are going off topic because were NOT talking about implementation we were talking about copying. At the end of the day say what u like, but u cannot deny that regardless of how you spin it, and the trolls who are screaming patent before its copied from other companies. This is an updated version of already used tech. Its not new its not innovative, its just modern, upto date and better designed then the readers before it
Get your facts straight everybody, Motorola had a fingerprint scanner when everybody was still exited about iphone 4 . ( http://ibnlive.in.com/news/motorola-atrix-had-a-fingerprint-scanner-two-years-before-iphone-5s/421125-11.html )
great job but it's a non sense additional feature because not all users are use phone password. i think it is ok if the iPhone make it large screen high performance, Multitasking, great features and can use 3d games.
