laggdroids, 12 Sep 2013Another copy idea from apple, next Shin would announce a fingerprint scanner on note4... all ... moreApple copied one of the Porsche's phones with a fingerprint scanner first: http://asia.cnet.com/product/porsche-design-p9522-black-edition-45228445.htm

Then Apple copied Motorola when it's about the fingerprint scanner again: http://secureidnews.com/news-item/motorola-releases-fingerprint-sensor-embedded-android-phone/

Just sayin.

Before you scream out lies about Samsung, you should rather check out your facts before you go full masturbation on Apple.

Whats wrong "great" samsung? can't catch up?And poor android, can't even catch up with today's superphones' quad core proccesing power...
I write this because i don't understant why people hate apple so much for nothing. I don't hate samsung or others, but I hate the apple haters. Apple realeses Iphone 5 with a longer screen - there we go with the future super long Iphone photos. Iphone doesn't change design - there we go with Iphone 5Same parodies... Just give me a logical reason.

Due to the fact samsung already knew about 64bits before the announcement since they fabricated that, its kind of etic to announce that after apple presentation.. and makes more sense since it uses more ram than the iphones

Swapnil , 12 Sep 2013by doing this samsung has proved they cant be real .....just copy and thts all ....theres nothing to copy.
arm provided the armv8 instruction set and core design. apple and samsung (and many, many others) are implementing it. its just like if you said apple copied samsung when they made a dual core phone, when arm released multicore arm cpus. senseless.

samsung would copy apple if they used a fingerprint reader.

ollyb1, 12 Sep 2013OMG if this doesn't prove Samsung copy apple nothing will and I bet Samsung fans will still de... moreOMG, try to be more stupid.

If Samsung is copying Apple, then Apple have copied the rest of the CPU market by using 64-bit that everyone else is using.

And no, Samsung isn't following Apple, they are following the tech and hardware on what that needs.

An iPhone 5C or 5S is a baby bath toy compared to the newest Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 when it comes to specification.

Those Samsung mobiles are both a smartphone and a mini computer at the same time. The newest iPhones are a bad attemt at being a "smart"phone.

WhatUThink, 12 Sep 2013Samsung will use the 64bit CORRECTLY...HUGE Screen.. And BTW, the 64bit used by iphone... mad... moreWell duh, that's why Samsung can jump at this as quickly as Apple has. Yes, Samsung is a chip manufacturer, Apple is not. Apple however writes its own Software, and can optimise it in any way it sees fit. Samsung does NOT, and is bound by Google to do the job.

No one wins in this game.

Wtf, what's the point of using 64bit in smartphone? Stop "innovate" this kind of impractical stuff, why don't Samsung Apple or whatever OEMs focus on improving those essential stuff like battery performance and memory space? We don't need this kind of nonsense innovation, these OEMs only know creating hype and earn $$$ from it

All flagship smartphones will end up getting quad/octa core, 4gb ram, 64 bit architecture, full hd screen, and so on..
The real question is "who will do it better?"
Samsung's definition of innovation is just to move forward, ahead from its competitor so that customers wud feel that any other useful smartphones are outdated.
Give it a rest or we will all end up using 84inch smartphone with a million GB of Ram, a pentaoctaquadduo core processor and a microscopic alien technology display by the year 2020..
Just kidding! ;-)

Alxxx, 12 Sep 2013for just 1GB and fake IOS multitasking 64bit are wasted, with Android true Multitasking with m... moreYou are not truly understanding the point of 64-bit computing. It's not just about the RAM size, programs need to be written in 64 bit so they can make use of the infrastructure, that has nothing to do with RAM.

64 bit computing opens up opportunities for better software, hardware is not the only factor in this.

Android Is Best, 12 Sep 2013All you apple fanboi's need to get a grip. ARM announced 64 bit Cortex A53 and A57 cores a yea... moreThe stock price went down for a number of reasons. Lack of real "innovation" rather than evolution of existing technology - which by the way affects all manufacturers. But also, the "budget" iPhone didn't turn out as cheap as expected, and the sales forecasts are not good, so investors are not convinced this strategy will work.

Indeed, Apple have done themselves no favour by introducing the iPhone 5C, but the true test will be when the phone comes on the market and companies are putting through their orders.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2013when apple used 64 bit , people think whats the point ? its useless ... when samsung used 64 b... morefor just 1GB and fake IOS multitasking 64bit are wasted, with Android true Multitasking with more than 4GB, 64bit are required ... Samsung don't have 64bit today because the maximum RAM size they use now is 3GB, tomorrow will be +4GB and so they told us 64bit will come at the right time when needed not just for marketing purposes
