Wow, we've indeed come a long wa... moreif once came with Snapdragon 685 and UFS 2.2, it would've been acceptable. but that was only reserved for their shittiy A5 "Pro" which most tech savvy struggle to find what's so "Pro" on it. anyway, instead they opted for a vintage chipset that had been used on oppo R11. this is just straight up pathetic in excuse for a durability. when in reality, the clerks obligate to use a phone case. it's not even an iPhone, it's an Oppo. the moment they unbox the phone, instant price drop mixed with regret. Oppo gets the profit for their cash cow from pushy salesperson who does not know anything about tech. these types of people never changed since 2015, lying to customers about like "it suits your needs", "has good cameras".. when in reality they prepared a photo taken from iPhones as a sample photo! even samsung and vivo improved a bit.

Well, jokes apart, at one point of time, SD660 was a big deal in the midrange, but that was because Android OS was lightweight, but not today.
It won't shine so much today.
Ewaste? Maybe not. But it is a low ender, a budget thing.

For a re-re-re-rebrand of SD 662, this is expensive. Barely offers improvement from my previous workplace that uses Oppo A5 2020, and that thing lags a lot because of built in ads everywhere
Then again general audience has been choosing the fake 6xx class ever since SD 480 vs SD 680. Who wouldn't want to keep fooling this cash cow

Oppo destroyes... moreother brands did it better unlike oppo, don't get me started with their flagships, they cost as one k1dney, even exceeding the price of an iPhone Pro Max models with highest storage variant. anyway, their use of "Pro" in A series are just a smokescreen, it exist to flood the phone market with e waste wrapped in Pro name.
this feels like if they ever sell a laptop with intel celeron + 4GB ram in base models, but with Pro models, the internals remain unchanged as the base model. just the design change and battery. it's worse than Samsung, Redmi and Vivo.
