i own Huawei watch gt4, i purchase s24Ultra.
Im planning to change my huawei watch to samsung for compatibility and more functions.
but it keeps stopping me to change.
Huawei watch GT4 is much more matured, elegant and Professional when it comes to design.
I feel like im using cheap device when i convert to samsung watch ultra. it look like a watch you use to do scuba dive.
i waited for watch 8 and seeing this i lost my trust in designer of Samsung now.
For me i think Samsung need to Hire Better Designer. They are getting ugly on their design.

Most smartwatches only have one physical interaction method. From using both, i tend to prefer the bezel too. Why is the bezel suddenly pointless without a rotating crown? I genuinely don't understand

The... moreNo, you most certainly have not set continuos monitoring. If you had, you could not possibly get 5 days battery life. It doesn't matter if you had the watch for less time than me or not, it has been like that since it was launched and everyone that actually used the thing can confirm it.
Again, having continuous monitoring and no AoD is and has always resulted in 3 days battery life (3 days and a couple of hours, whatever), anything above that is because you have things either disabled or without continuous monitoring.
Also, again, you are missing my point - every single Samsung watch except the Watch5 Pro has horrible battery life, which is why I still keep this thing on my wrist and complain about not having a better alternative.

Watch 6 Classic > Watch 8 Classic > Watch 7 UltraAnd the Watch 3 over all those.
Samsung has really come down since then in design and software. No way WearOS cant still match Tizen in battery life. They complained and said they switched due to more "apps", and I fail to see which apps they were talking about bc no one cares that much about WearOS. At much, they do companion apps that require your phone, so pointless in the end.
WatchOS is on a better position on this regard, but sucks in battery life.

The problem here is, you're chronically tainted by your own disinformation flood on gadget blogs, so I will not be surprised if you believe yourself.
4-5 days on a single charge. No power saving. Everything on automagic. It's not an Apple watch. Samsung has been doing this for over a decade.

How many hours do ... moreYou are only getting 5 days of battery life because you don't have continuous monitoring enabled, I also happen to be using a Watch5 Pro and with those enabled and no AoD, you're getting exactly 3 days battery life, no chance for anything above that.
And that's my issue - other than this specific model, no other one they have has a battery that can last above a day with continuous monitoring enabled, hence why I refuse to upgrade to anything newer.

I don't get it. Why do they continue to put out sophisticated products like this, that look like $10 novelty toy watches with a faux leather band you'd buy in the sale section of Walmart or at a street vendor?
There is no way I would wear something that cheap looking, especially at the office.
