A, 10 Jun 2025I think both android and iphone are called smartphone buddy. Then why mentioned on different sides with different values and why the lines are coloured and what does that mean?

It seems this data is provided by Apple just like their comparison graphs for performance of their devices.

Worse, there are laptop owners like me who barely use the laptop anymore other than adb or accessing the directories locked by modern Android version updates.

Tons of wasted Data. 400 'apps' , all with IP access. A total mess. + the leading spyware complex. EU should enforce to uninstall everything that's not a __core__ functionality, meaning, everything 'AI'-related.

they dominate web traffic.. because there are people who uses and stacks 10-20 or even up to 100 phones to farm YouTube views or internet numbers such as likes on platforms. plugging into their custom made boxes, either strapped onto a wall with the charger plugged in.

no wonder, in Indonesia everybody uses smartphones everywhere, if you go to a coffee shop, it is dominated by smartphone users... Personally, I use a laptop 80% of the time and a phone 20% of the time when I'm at home.

Google doesn't even care about tablets, abandoning it for the 3rd time now. Their rumored desktop mode is still developer only. Until Google put those features as official standard Android feature, most OEMs (who have less software R&D budget than Google) wouldn't bother, and no app developers would bother optimizing their apps as well.

I'm still annoyed at apps who are forced displayed in portrait orientation when run on my tablet.

If we assume there are 1 billion mobile users out of 8 billion world population that's more than enough to create heavy traffic.
Now how many users are desktop users - maybe 100 million or max 500 million out of that 8000 million.
                  Numbers matters!

8 billion people have 2 hands.
They use 2 phones with their 2 hands.
Thus total 16 billion phones uses double the traffic.
                    Very interesting point you made.

Yet most smartphone OEM still don't feel the need to make it as a proper computer by giving Desktop Mode support. I myself don't use my Windows laptop very often nowadays ever since I started using Desktop Mode from my smartphone, especially Samsung's DeX and Huawei's EMUI Desktop.
