i don't need Blackberry with 5" screen.
i need another Blackberry Z10 with slide-out QWERTY keyboard...
is it too much too ask for a real Blackberry keyboard?
I have a Z10 for 6 months and very happy with it. My wife has a Iphone 5 and my other phone is a S3. To be honest I prefer the Z10. It's a workhorse the new OS is very fluid and fast. To work there is no better choice (my humble opinion). Yes there is a lack of apps which, in my case, doesn't make any difference as the apps that I need are available (Skype, Whatsup, FB, Twitter, Vivino, Linkedin, 4square, Evernote). There is a great built in app that nobody talk which is Remember which integrates Evernote. And the Hub its the best buit in app that integrates and unifies all your email accounts, FB, twitter, FB, Whats and BBM. Now that BBM is going crossplatform the better it will be. Battery lasts one day (like almost phones in ourdays). Gestures? Amazing. Keybord? The best. Only Swiftkey comes close (which I have in my S3). It's the only mobile in the market with no bottoms in its face, only gestures. Imagine the big whaaa! if the new iphone had came without any bottom on its face like the Zed. To be honest I rarely touch in my S3 since I've Z10. New OS update to 10.2 will just make enjoy even more the Z. There our doubts about BB future? True. But how many of us will use a phone for more than 1-2 years? So far so good. I think the Z and Q are highly underated by opinion makers (don't know why and I don't believe in conspiracy theories). Have they tried one for 1 month before their reviews? Don't think so. Anyway this is the world where we live where everybody loves to be just like its neighbour. Keep well&keep moving.
looks good, but anyway, what's this big love for dualcore flagships yet? bbos would run much better on quadcore
Entering the 5" race way too late.nice phone though but it wont survive the onslaught of the current phablet crop..
All or nothing device. Blackberry company being offered for sale does not inspire confidence.
In my opinion, a tad too late, but one never knows. For now I'm not too optimistic about Blackberry.
I hate them for having few useful applications
Nice work RIM ..it's all or nothing now and you have delivered something exciting.Keep the price right and i think you will have a winner.
It looks exactly like a10 only bigger screen
This is a must have, I have had a Z10 and contrary to media hype about BlackBerry underperforming, the OS10 is poised to steal a gap in the market. iOS needs a build ground up, iOS7 does nothing much compared to iOS6/iOS5. They are now selling based on hardware improvement such as finger print reader, Android is in the same boat, an S3 and S4 look the same except a few gimmicks like picture sounds, BlackBerry has a fresh OS that still has much to offer, I have seen them roll out improvements in the 8 months I have had a Z10, the negative media will find nothing to bash BB with except its financial results maybe but not the phones.
Samsung Buys Blackberry
MrGrumpy, 18 Sep 2013Nice battery but is there an FM Radio? Can you turn off that stupid damn annoying camera shutt... moreyes you can, if you're on silent mode, the camera sound will turn off... in 10.2 of course
Anonymous, 18 Sep 2013The BB 10 OS is good and although there are many more apps in the app store than there was 3 m... moreBB 10 OS is alright. Not too bad. Big lack of apps as we know.
What seriously let's it down are plenty of silly little bugs in the OS. Blackberry didn't really test it thoroughly enough and I hope 10.2 fixes a lot of this.
Like not being able to open new text messages. So many silly little faults.
I'll buy one. I am hoping for the black berry 6 incher.
OK
Okay BB that's a great move. Just one more thing to do, when laundhing put a price tag of some JumboJet on it and shatter our dreams and your business.
Akb, 18 Sep 2013Awesome! Now I can enjoy the BB10 fluidity on a much bigger screen. Love the bigger battery. ... moreThe BB 10 OS is good and although there are many more apps in the app store than there was 3 months ago BB needs to get the app developers incentives to get apps out faster.
iKristiaan, 18 Sep 2013Most companies are moving to the new BB infrastructure...
But within a year they will find ou... moreYeah, we know Android and iOS are being used more corporate side.
Android is fine cos there are plenty of mid and low range handsets so mass deployment isn't expensive. iOS suffers cos the handset costs are so high. My company aren't going around buying iPhone 5 for every employee. Too expensive. Even the iPhone 4 was/is expensive when you're buying 1000's of them. £100 to £250 Blackberry's that run corporate email are good enough.
I'm on a Q5 as a company phone, and I'm probably expected to use that for the next few years as well.
Awesome! Now I can enjoy the BB10 fluidity on a much bigger screen. Love the bigger battery.
Keep it coming.
Hey, bezels are smaller(below the screen still too big though).
Someone, 18 Sep 2013Some of the corporate world STILL use Blackberry.
My employer has upgraded the Blackberry ... moreMost companies are moving to the new BB infrastructure...
But within a year they will find out about the cost to value ratio of buying a Smartphone which runs android or iOS, against a BB.
Goodluck with you 5s.
Kind Regards
