My parents had the 2.3 and 4.2, later replaced by 2 Nokia C32s due to them deciding to donate their earlier phones to a coworker that lost their phone in public transport to a struggling student that couldn't afford to buy a smartphone at the time for online classes. All of them have been exceptionally great phones for their prices, despite their shortcomings.

Batteri Voltas, 10 Jun 2025Seems like getting rid of the Nokia name actually allowed HMD to deliver more desirable stuff ... moreOf course, they wouldn't have to overspend on a licensing agreement under a masochist patent troll with severe mismanagement, so it's expected.
Their Nokia Androids weren't bad in all aspects, but they had high initial prices in certain regions that didn't sit well with the vocal minority, alongside poor marketing.

Anonymous, 10 Jun 2025Same SoC as the Moto G06, G15, Redmi 14C 5G et all. Oops, Redmi 14C 4G has the G81, not 14C 5G-that has a Snapdragon 4 series SoC.

Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, not as slow as molasses, unlike the Helio G81 "Ultra".

2025 - Helio G81 SoC? Seriously, Honor/Huawei? The bare minimum is the G99, or G100, G200 nowadays - albeit really slow!

What's exactly Ultra about this processor?
MTK, just axe the Helio lineup altogether and focus on Dimensity chipsets.
Also, WTF Honor, 140€ for that? You know you messed up when you offer less VFM than Samsung at a low-end price point. You can pick up an a16 with an OLED and better SW support for 120. And that's not to talk of the likes of Poco/Redmi or even Transsion.

Samsung has a better phone at this price range ? Who would have thought. It's only ..maybe, worth it if the bezels are as small as they are shown on the promo images. But I doubt it. LCD.

this phone is quite cheap considering it has an extreme
water and drop resistances and if this phone has all 3ip
ratings like the ip66+ip68+ip69 or better still an ip 69k +
a92.5-93% screen to body ratio and i dont need a 60hz
!
better still an ips lcd too instead of an amoled as it
causes headaches and eye strain and my hua wei
p30 lite screen got burn in as due to an accidental
alcohol spray and it total ly dissapear ed in around
2 - 3 weeks time and i wonder which ips lcd brand
does it use so does any body has any know ledge
!

"120hz smoothness" yeah not with the Helio G81, even if it's called Ultra, for nothing but marketing reasons.
