iOS7 is a success, it works great on mine
Updated my 4s and didn't had any problems. Loving the IOS 7 so far:) where it's been all this time. everything works great, didn't slow down my phone at all. All applications work flawless
One of the things I noted is that iOS 7 does not allow proper scaling of the lock screen wallpaper. I have had a photo of my family as the wallpaper for ages. Installing iOS 7 reset it and now I cannot scale the same picture properly.
Just an observation.
Apple has notified us that they are having significant unbricking issues as of 3pm EST. They have stated that 50% of their unbricks are failing. They are unsure if this is related to the high demand for iOS7.
Due to anticipated increased traffic on Apple’s system with this release, some customers may experience longer downloading times for iTunes 11.1 and iOS 7. Additionally, due to the anticipated increased traffic, there may be some delay in the unbricking process, for both customers at home and in-store unbricking. The options are to make sure its all up to date and try the sync again or wait for the activation process to complete so the phone can connect back to the network, there are no other steps from carriers where as its not a issue related to carriers just the phones activation with the apple servers that allow them to read the sim to connect
AnonD-187983, 18 Sep 2013YEAH over itunes its working but OTA no!! thanks mateSpoilsport you could have tried OTA and give us an estimated download time,,,,about 4 weeks..:)
Anonymous, 18 Sep 2013If you on am iphone 4 it will slow down but any of the newer phones it works wellI am trying to get him to buy newer iphone and in particular my iphone 5,,hehe.
I have given up via iTunes and using iphone5 itself..Its started and all the silver cogs are turning(very fluently I must say)but its gone to estimated 4 hrs,i am using Wi-Fi approx. 12Mb/s download but that's not the bottleneck its Apples servers creaking under the strain.
If my phone gets messed up and my mom gets mad at Me I'm blaming apple Inc
It's 7:20am here in Australia and I know it's 2:20pm in California, but I haven't got an update? I'm on my iPad 3 or 4 and I'm updated to iOS 6.1.3. Do you think it would help if I shut down my iPad? Just like the power off button?
Pug master, 18 Sep 2013I'm having the same problemAgain, you need to restore. You cannot and will not receive an Update.

"Those enrolled to test out iOS 7 through its beta stages, currently on Golden Master will need to RESTORE their devices in order to get the final build."
You wont receive an OTA update. Keyword: RESTORE

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2013If you on am iphone 4 it will slow down but any of the newer phones it works wellHave you tried doing a reset and starting from scratch?
A build up of apps and extra data that they store can cause slowdown on the 4. A clean reset will solve that.
