Shinn, 20 Sep 2013It's confirmed I brought one by my friend at chinaReally ?
Well for better or for worse I just pre-ordered one about an hour ago.
I'm still quite happy with my Lumia 920 but after what Elop has done to Nokia I want to try out Jolla and see if it's any good.
I've had a look at the OS videos on YouTube and I think I may like using Sailfish. Any way I'm now waiting for the 'phone which should be coming before the end of the year.
Here's hoping Jolla can make a good 'phone. Time will tell.
Jolla OS sounds good......
Lets see what it's got in store for the smartphone market and Smartphone users.....
good luck Jolla !
I would buy it, but i'm still very happy with my Nokia 808.
AnonD-161874, 20 Sep 2013The name Xiaomi has come up, but not confirmed in any way... It's confirmed
I brought one by my friend at china
i don't know, but i think even the 2nd gen. iPhone is better than this.
540$ is too much for this phone... I will wait until its price goes down.
Carol, 19 Sep 2013To tell you the truth, i'm waiting for this one... Anybody knows who's doing the hardware? The name Xiaomi has come up, but not confirmed in any way...
AnonD-133243, 20 Sep 2013I know, just kiddin, but of course these are not specs for a $540 phone, imagine how will it d... moreI get your point, but have you seen how the N9 handles multitasking with a 1/3 of the power? i believe it will perform on par with q core Android phones. but let us see. The screen resolution is not grate and i have hoped for a bit more, but i will not pass judgment before i have seen it "real time".
a lot of the customer will come from the n9/n900/n950 users. what is strong with the phone and OS is the community, the openness, and the support from Jolla to the community. Doing it together. go on Jolla, make it available worldwide faster. they are not simply creating a product. its the love child of the open source community
