In case you've missed it, I use most social media apps besides Snapchat (I don't use it, though I have it installed). The main difference is that I don't play games, and I didn't use Google camera within the past few days. I doomscroll when I get the time for it, unlike the vocal majority that complains about how horrible their devices' battery life is. Also, it's easy to set up battery settings to adapt to your usage in current phones. I'm assuming you don't even change the most basic of settings, judging by the approach of your response.

And yes, my response to jiyen235 is within context. I don't think it's difficult for anybody to comprehend, either.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2025Huawei ban was a mistake. Further banning of products not named Apple or Samsung will be an ev... moreEven if you are correct, nobody forcing you to buy anything from these two. There are hundreds of other brands to choose from. This is mainly news for apple fans ironically attracting all the haters. Yes, we know all the most popular phones are boring, but then again, what is so much defferent for the average users on different brand. Sure, Huawei and Vivo has better hardware and camera results, but is that much better then the most popular brands out there? They are not really. Only for geeks chasing the best possible. We already got to the point where most of the buyers are happy.
Only people that are complaining are the gamers, since for them there is never enough of power and battery endurance for what they do on their phones. Sure. Any phone these days can play games, but it is not designed specifically for that, so all of them will suck and bot be efficient.

If you really wanted, you could buy a Huawei phone right now. There are ways to enable Google services or if you can live without them, which is also doable.

It says, "Samsung has a true capacity of 4855 mAh which it names as 5000mAh"

The same can be said about any other Android brand. They are all just marketing numbers.

Only with Apple we know a true capacity of their batteries, because they never say it out loud by them self, so every new iPhone's battery has to be tested via 3rd parties

So in another words, if Apple says they are going to have a 5000mAh battery for their new Pro Max, it can literally mean it will have a bigger battery then S25 Ultra right now.

A cheap Samsung Galaxy A16 can have a better battery endurance due to not that powerfull chipset like we have in flagships and mentoined 15 Pro Max. So it doesn't cut it if you say just "an Android phone". You have to be more precise.

Yup. Seems logic. Especially if you didn't change the battery in this how many years of using it? 6? 7?

Do you actually believe your case is the most common one? Really?

3 days on one charge eh?

You are obviously using your phone as a watch and alarm.

And even everything you said about background activity is true, with that last sentence... How can you use that example? I don't understand. I really don't. You are way way way below average user and how often them using their phone. There is no way that tiny 3000mAh battery from Nokia 8 from 2017 is holding that much if you were really using it. No matter the background activity. Your example doesn't have any sense if you put an 8 (eight) years old device for this.

They can get away with using obsolete components, even in their most expensive devices, and they also use Wingtech to design and manufacture all of their devices. They only rely at brand name and marketing at this point, and their supporters and shills blindly believe they're bringing in innovation, whereas it's obvious they're exploiting both patent holders and ethical business practices.

If people set up their Android devices to not keep activities and background processes via developer settings, they'll easily outperform Apple devices in terms of battery endurance.
