Samsung offers extremely good pre-orders deal in Australia including bonus trade in value, double storage, loyalty discount codes, education and other corporate employees discount. One can easily pre-order Samsung phones every year on almost half or at times even less than half the RRP. Thats the best way/time to buy Samsung phones, otherwise all phones these days are overpriced if bought on RRP.

Making excuses to stick same battery 4400Mah for last 5 Years for Samsung when they could have used a larger battery Si/C in same space is just plain stupid and ignorant.

I saw the device a few days back from a samsung rep it was mind blowing to see how thin the fold 7 will be, as for the article yes the launch is the 25th and early pick up will be starting the 23rd which is the shortest vip pick up ever (i used to work at samsung canada). Normally we would get near a week of early pick up.

This company has gone very wrong, it has very expensive products with poor features, all you buy is the name of the company. Don't expect much, big battery, big charging

Just look at the Fold6 (4400mAh) and the Magic V3 bigger battery capacity (5150mAh), both with the same SoC, yet the Fold6 has better battery life, according to GSMArena's active use score: Fold6 11h31 vs Magic V3 10h05.

DarlingYext, 04 Jul 2025It would be, if it wasn't a Samsung device, but that logo sells anything unfortunatelly.I've read some declarations from people working at Samsung, they say Samsung is currently testing the new silicone carbon batteries alongside the current ones, but with a higher power density. Basically they say that 4400 mAh with more energy density is better than SiC batteries that have more thermal and swelling issues. It's either that or Samsung has to clear out a big stock of 4400 mAh cells from the wearhouse
