if it made by SAMSUNG, so iFans just keep quite,, no trolling needed, just tell me what crApple made for iPhone??? apple just assembles a phone for example a new car company buys engine from lamborghini, body from audi, dashboard from toyota, tyres from buggati, seats from ROlls ROyce and assemble it so it isnt called innovation..
its called assemblenation,,, just look at samsung every part of their phone is made by them,, If that is Octa Core chip or Super HD Amoled display or that is Camera.

But if you had to write book reports not only for yourself, but many others too. I not sure you be an A+ student. Apple has the luxury of writing it's own book report, without the hassel of worrying about anybody but themselves. Which is smart on their part. But it's none the less an advantage that's really not worth mentioning.
harlekkin, 24 Sep 2013Tell me which Apps iPhone 5S can't run on these specs? I bet you that most games will run as w... moreYeah, your iphone is fast, but NOT because of the 64bit chip you poor clueless fanboy, but it's because of the ARMv8 architecture. The 64bit is only useful if yor device has more than 4GB of ram. Iphone 5s is just pretending to be a computer when it is in fact just another smartphone, it doesn't even know what multitasking is. ;) The Note 3 on the other hand, is as close to a real computer as it gets. So next year when the Note 4 arrives with it's 64bit chip, you might even have a replacement for your laptop. Meditate on that. Samsung is waay ahead of Apple now in terms of tech and real innovations. ;)
this feature what makes iphone exclusive

don't tell me, that you are thinking a dual-core laptop has worse performance than that quad-core phone?
Apple has different approach on how they increase their phone's performance.
on most android device, it's 'higher clock means higher perfomance'.
while Apple underclocks their phone, and still runs silky smooth.
yes, of course higher clock gives an increase in performance, but not as much.
everybody is saying, it's because iOS is not as advanced as Android, well do you think put a setting toggle on notification bar, put an app drawer, would harm the performance that much?
and "iOS can't true multitask!", what is the advantage of true multitask on a mobile device?
running a background service so that free apps can push ads to your phone?
it's a smartphone not a PC where you could render a video while browsing the web.

It's the same game that Windows & OSX have been playing all these years... each to their own.
Oh give me a break? "eats benchmarks for breakfast". Yeah, sure it does…………in an Apple product. You put that same chipset in a phone running Android & it would be significantly slower. 1.3GHz is still only 1.3GHz as compared to 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset. The difference is, IOS is the equivalent of a gutted race car with no air conditioner & one seat. Android is sports car with a custom paint job, premium leather seats & power windows. So it all comes down to weight of operating systems. Android+many brands/heavy customization=heavy. iOS+one brand/minimum customization=light. If Apple would dare put a Snapdragon 800 chipset under the hood of an iPhone? It would average near to 50,000 on Antutu. Why? Because it's lighter!!!!!! Wow, imagine that?
Anonymous, 24 Sep 2013First of that 64bit chip-set is made using samsung's 28nm gate technology. second 64 bit is ... moreThat is simply rubbish. 64-bit architecture and RAM are two very different things. RAM over 4GB needs 64-bit, but not the other way round. Apps will still benefit from the 64-bit architecture but don't necessarily need 4GB to run.

Thanks it really did, who would have expect that with those numbers they could beat every smartphone out there in performance.
Apple made very big statement that numbers on paper are, well just numbers on paper.
Also it made history being world fastest selling smartphone ever.

The truth is kind a different ""Djay and Vjay Updated for iPhone 5s, 64-Bit A7 Processor 2-4 Times Faster for Some Tasks"
"Because the A7 processor is so powerful, Algoriddim CEO Karim Morsy explained, its programs can spend processing cycles on a smoother user interface and better visual effects. He told us that the Djay and Vjay programming teams were able to 64-bit compatible versions of the apps just three days after the iPhone 5s went on sale largely because of Apple's excellent developer tools."
