just read, s26U have same battery size 5000mah,SD elite g2 cpu,well,all have 16gb ram,cool chamber size bigger,4 cameras, and all other about same...disapointed indeed...

Interest: the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is significantly less good in zoom quality (x5 48MP) than the Vivo X200 Ultra (x3.7 200MP). So don't say that 200MP sensors are useless. For low-budget models, it greatly improves the digital zoom

You specify that 200MP is useless (while it greatl... moreThere is no difference between 200mp and 50mp quadbayer mobile sensors. 200mp consists of tiny subpixels that merge more subpixels into one pixel while 50mp has bigger subpixels. Whole point of those sensors is to boost details in light areas and add sharpness and the best result ends up in 12mp image. Less subpixels they combine into pixels there is less detail and less sharpness. 200mp mode on Samsung is a super heavy hack in post process with tons of sharpening and tone map masking.

however in real life they ar... moreExcluding the S-Pen stuff (which I don't care about, but will agree is stupid to do), here are a few comments:
- How many non-gimmick phones have batteries over 5000mAh?
- Would you rather have a battery that charges faster, or a battery that dies (lifespan) faster? Because honestly, 45W is perfectly fine on a 5000mAh battery, literally takes ~30 minutes to charge if you go between 15% and 80%
- Yes, and raise the price a lot for something the vast majority of people don't need or care about (guess what, salt water will murder it equally) - every certification has an associated cost, which the consumer pays
- Camera quality is often subjective - I have seen cases where my old S21 FE has performed better than my father's Canon DSLR camera. There is no such thing as "the perfect camera". The S25 Ultra's camera is more than sufficient, they just need to figure out how to make better use of the software optimizing the photos you're taking with it.
You are right - Samsung could offer more/better hardware for the price of a S25 Ultra, but here's the thing - what they are going with is offer better software features and support period. Not going to argue if this is a better move or not because it is subjective, but if you don't agree with it - there are other OEMs out there.

Anonymous, 07 Jul 2025Every smartphone camera with OIS rattles, Samsung is no better or worse here.I've had countless smartphones over the years with OIS, none have rattled anywhere close to the S25 Ultra level. Now I get there are three cameras on the back that have that feature but once I noticed just how bad it was, to the point where even bringing the phone to my ear was accompanied by clanking sounds, I couldn't un-notice it.

You specify that 200MP is useless (while it greatly improves digital and hybrid zoom) while hiding that these sensors have a 12.5 and 50MP mode with larger photosites. Smartphone sensors evolve much more quickly than those on SLRs (I didn't say that the quality was the same).

In order for AI to generate pictures, it must be trained with training data. In essence, AI can only mix and match and modify existing stuff.
