SONY MOBILE India, I bought Xperia Z1 from Sangeeta mobile store on 21st September in Bangalore, I also Have Xperia S, Xperia TX, I compare the same video with Xperia TX. The videos with white backgrounds is far better in TX compared to Z1. my Z1 is having yellow hue tint issue. What is the solution for this issue?? . Z1. I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH XPERIA S, BUT STILL BEING LOYAL TO SONY , SONY MADE ME FEEL SAD AGAIN.
I tried comparing the same videos playing in other fones and XZ1. The XZ1 is having a horizonal yellow lines in the bottom of the screen. Any video when I play with white color back ground i can see the yellow lines and the screen.
Being a SONY FAN GUY, and buying every product from sony like TV, Phones, Cam recorder, music players, mp3 players, Digital camera, dvd player, headphones, incuding power banks & pendrives and sony making me feel sad evrytime..
I bought almost 10 sony smart fones like SE Yendo, SE K series, SE W series,SONY Xperia series(X10, Arc, Xperia S, Xperia TX, Xperia Z1). Every time I buy a sony fone, I am facing lots of issues with fone and especially the service in india.
I was really happy when it was Sony Ercisson, But After SONY's Aquistion in SE, SONy's after sales support in The smart fone segment is very bad. The time they take take to resolve an issue is minimum 7 days but it is more than 15 days. for xperia S they took 26 days , sent 2 times, inssue not resolved.. so bought another one instead of cracking my head with that fone.
Y should people invest rupees 43K for this kinda service in india?. If we compare to any other compitative brands like samsung & LG. their prices are good and the after sales suport is far better than SONY.
Most of the electronics which me & my family bought from 1990's are SONY. may be at that time sony is Good. I feel SOny is NO more doing the same.
I donno about other countries, but Sony Service/After sales support in INDIA is very bad. EVery customer who goes to the servicing centre says this.
Yesterday I went to the SONY Authorised Service centre(Accel Frontline Services Ltd, No.32, Near Regional Passport Office, 2nd Main Road, Y Nanjappa Reddy Layout, Koramangala 8th Block, Bangalore, INDIA - 560095. NONE of them were able to communicate in English. One Service centre guy was replying like as if there were doing free service. I asked him to speak in english as I dont know HINDI, He said I dont know ENGLISH in a wild manner. I donno Y sony is encouraging these kinda of people in service centres.
SONY, Atleast ask your service centre guys to properly talk with customer. When I goto SONY centres to buy, they behave as IF we are GOD. But after sales the treatment of the customer is different. There is no one to properly communicate to tell the problem.
IN and Around me(friends, relatives, colleques) most of the people ask's me about a product before they buy, I used to always say SONY is the best!
BUt now because of the after sales support in india I need to think 10 times before buying and 100 times before referring to any one.
Sony wants only positive reviews in their fan sites.. but not about their customers issues
BY having lots of issues with SONY MOBILE INDIA from last 2 years & the way they acted upon me. I changed my mind to buy SAMSUNG LED 3D SMART TV rather than SONY LED 3D INTERNET TV.
IF SONY wants to know the real after sales & Products reviews, ask everyone who is coming to the service centres.

If Sony will still be providing their flagship devices with crappy, TN displays (like in the S, T, Z, Z1) then I don't see them taking 20%.
I couldn't believe when I saw reports that the Z1 still has this poor quality display, especially when the older Z Ultra has a better one.

Its only a minor upgrade 4.3 :-) . Good luck Sony I just bought a Z yesterday after my xperia neo for 3 years!
Considering Sony's standard supreme quality products across its entire lineup, this hardly seems a dream. They deserve it...
They have done some great work this year, their very first year when they are completely on their own!
Flagship or not, there is no compromise in buying a sony phone! I admire that fact! Kudos!!!
i like Sony too but that dream seems a bit far fetched as their roll out of devices r not uniformed. look at Z1, the phone i wanted to buy, yet they r still not linked to any telcos in Malaysia as of now while Note3 is already up and running. i also have a feeling that iP5 will be available b4 Z1. even when ppl wanna buy their product, it's pointless when it's not even available.... those early adopters they r targeting are all gone!
maybe thats why they started making fancy looking low quality defective phones and never release firmware updates in some regions, nice policy sony, keep it up
