It looks very boring and mirthless with all that black and gray. It really looks like htc had their best days and they are going to have same future what nokia had. End of phone business is near.
Have to say i liked the blinkfeed Ui, but well it was good copy from windows phone Ui.
2009 or around i wanted to be htc user, i remember i wanted htc diamond, it looked very cool. But i just didnt knew the brand and no-one my friends didnt own htc phone, so i couldnt buy such expensive phone without knowing what it its.
Even today i think htc have same problem, they just doesnt have enough brand name to sell phones for mass. Which is kind a sad because i think the htc one should have sold much more.
By the way htc diamond in 2008 already had that same clock. http://www.mforum.ru/cmsbin/2011/13/TouchDiam/touchdiam_full1024x768.jpg maybe its time for change? In that diamond it looked very cool and new but today, not so much.
If one can indeed turn off Blinkfeed then its a giant leap forward from Sense 5. Still, Sense in itself leaves a bad taste, i cant forget how bad it was on Froyo and Gingerbread, the hang and freezes and ense crashes followed by a recover time of up to 1 minute still reigns supreme as the most unpleasant thing i have ever seen on a phone.
Improvement anyway, now they could learn from Sony and let users disable bloat, with no root required, just disable all the crap you dont need. 5 minutes in Apps settings freed around 100MB RAM on my Xperia (this feature was gone from Xperia phones for a while after SEMC ceased to exist but is back in all its glory now, Sony really knows how to put the user in center with great freedom. You changed to Google+ and dont need FB anymore? Disable everything FB, the main processes alone saves 84MB RAM. Dont like Google Now? Just disable it then.)
The Cosmicist, 08 Oct 2013GET RID OF THAT HIDEOUS CLOCK. It was ugly back in the Gingerbread era, and it's ugly today.dude i had same clock in my htc hd2 windows phone :D
Actually you can turn it off. Settings - personalize - home screen style: traditional (no blinkfeed) or blinkfeed. Very Simple!!!!

I would like it to be more color instead of a boring and very depressing grayish look.
