i think it would be a win win situation for both companies. lenovo needs a new UI for its smartphones. htc needs to lower its prices. marketing, distribution etc...

Htc one is a great phone but is full of problems. I will never buy htc. Fastest phone for 2013, nice build but very poor quality.

Good news. The price will be reasonable of phones. Htc could not make competitive price .Actually Htc phones are very good quality but price is high , no good marketing, no easy availability to all countries , no service centre. Lenovo can fix those problems .We can find same quality of phones of htc and Lenovo far different prices .Lenovo can do it and balance.China can do it.

its all about CA$H...
$am$ung has got it... it survives...

Nokia has now the FULL support of Microsoft
HTC can also be the same if they takeup the offer from Microsoft [Dual Booting WP with Android] not a full commitment to WP.

WIn-WIn situation...

even if Lenovo buys HTC...
Lenovo also can takeup the same deal from Microsoft
