Nexus user, 20 Oct 2013Never buy Nexus. Buy Sony for android.Since I bought my every first nexus phone Galaxy Nexus, I'm kinda into this stock android experience. Now I have the Nexus 4, and probably go for the Nexus 5 right after it's announcement.
Nexus user, 20 Oct 2013Never buy Nexus. Buy Sony for android. You have no idea, if you struggle using a Nexus Product, you should be using an iPhone

if this phone doesn't come with 3000 mah battery, I'm going with LG G2. I need a phone that will last all day with heavy use. nuff said.
A bit off topic.
"According to the Korean media, Nexus 5 will be launched along with the LG' first flexible Smartphone G Flex and that's could be the reason that the LG and Google are delaying the unveiling of the Nexus 5. LG wants to unveil both the giants in the same event to surprise the tech world and that's why the unveiling of the new Nexus device Nexus 5 got late."

Hi, using GSMA'S excellent compare tool apart from Kitkat, memory options, screen size and some minor tweaks the 5 is very much the 4. Am I wrong? If so why all the hype? I'm using the 4 and find it a great device.
To me the battery capacity is more than enough,I prefer it this way over a havier device,in my Note 2 I use a smaller 2800 mah battery just to reduce the weight and gives me a whole day with heavy usage,so,if the price is under $400 Im gonna get this for sure.
Actually, Google make Nexus 5 a little bit moderate is to save other phone makers. If it uses removable battery over 3000mAh and sd card slot over 64G with such price tag, how will other phone makers survive ?
For me no sd facility.
Removable battery is very preferable.
I fear the N5 may be an anti-climax, the only positive being the latest android updates. I sincerely hope I am wrong.
Maybe I will not jump in and wait a few months for the S5.
mortuus, 19 Oct 2013google are dumb, why offer a worse phone with crap battery and a better? isnt it better from b... moreJust wait and you shall see! The new android 4.4 aka kitkat, as long as we are referring to rumors, is said that it will optimize battery use. A classic example are the newer HTC phones which use little batteries (less than 3000 mAh) and last more than a day with good use of battery power!
Obviously small battery
Google and LG are also part of larger phone-corporate brotherhood
they wont give away a all-in-one-phone for 400$ and kill the remaining phone market
So they are releasing this one with something moderate enough for more than 50% customer still not opting for this one and look at the remaining market
Btw, how much do you expect from a 400$ anyways; you got the super hardware afterall.
The battery and no card slot is the achilles heel for this nexus.

I can understand why Apple/Google go for the non-removable battery. Governments can't track phones when they have the battery removed...
Also 32GB still isn't enough, sdcard slot or 64GB option would have been nice.
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2013...shuuuuuuuutt up!! take my moooonneyyy!!(32gig version pls :-)I have a fully charged battery... annnnnnddddddd it's gone!
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2013Right. Even the same specs but with Chinese logo, people would consider it a low-class phone. ... moreagree with u man. But what to do.. There are people who still pay 999$ for Iphone 5S... So we are going with the nexus..
