Pixels (I own) are all a.i. algorithms now and are slacking badly aswell. Huawei, Xiaomi, oppo, honor, Vivo all beat apple in picture, most on par with video.

For the Indian smartphone market, during the past 3 years, some of the smartphone makers are doing very well, at the expense of others who are rapidly losing market share. Their approx market share after incorporating tracking data from various sources from years 2022 to 2025(projected) are as follows:
Gainers
1. Vivo (incl iQOO): 16% - 17.5% - 19.5% - 23.0%
2. Apple: 4.5% - 6.5% - 8.0% - 9.0%
3. Motorola: 2.5% - 3.0% - 6.0% - 8.0%
Maintaining share
1. Oppo (incl Oneplus): 15.0% - 16.5% - 15.5% - 15.5%
(Oppo has gone from 10.5% in 2023 to 13.0% in 2025, whereas Oneplus has gone down from 6% in 2023 to 2.5% in 2025)
Losers
1. Samsung: 19.0% - 18.0% - 15.5% - 14.5%
2. Xiaomi (incl POCO): 20.0% - 17.0% - 17.0% - 13.0%
3. Realme - 14.0% - 12.0% - 11.0% - 10.0%

Here is the breakdown
Person X buys newest pro max for 1600€ through his company, pays 600€ after all is done
Uses it for 1 year, sells for 1000€, gets 400€ profit
Buys new pro max
Rinse and repeat
The higher the price the better
This has been repeated everywhere online, people somehow seem to not take it in
Same thing with cars and other stuff btw, its all bs propaganda
Thats why stats like this don't matter
Divide company bought phones with privately bought ones and then you will see a whole other picture
With contract and without one would also be important

I am more surprised about Poco and Xiaomi declining market. Seems like Hyper OS truly destroyed its remaining playerbase. Hardware wise Xiaomi is better than ever before. The 15T series are far better than 13t and 14t. Xiaomi 15 series fixed all issues 14 had. The redmi note 14 segment while more expensive its still better than 13 series and rather similar to 12.
Poco phones are better than ever before. High end flagship chipsets. Actually usable and amazing cameras, par on par with older 12T and 13T models. The Poco F7 Ultra did great vs 14T pro. The F7 poco normal edition has 7000 mah.
Is software really the cause of declining indian market ? Should Xiaomi be someones next purchase ?

Unlike us who can evaluate technology, many people are obsessed with fashion and are influenced by the quality of advertising.
To be honest, even if you look at each manufacturer's website, it's impossible to find detailed camera test results like those for GSM.
Simply having excellent cost performance won't be enough to survive.
