Great phone, sadly its still only available in 16GB, its beyond stupid a flagship phone dont even offer 32GB, on paper it says it does but i never seen anything buy S3,S4,S4+ with 32GB yet! And worst part is i only have 9GB free and of course i cant use SD to install apps on!!!
Samsung needs to step up their game really.

New variants are released to attract new customers and those would like to have better upgrade than their previous year flagships. Anyway, these for few european countries not worldwide release. I guess these are the remaining unsold units from Korea because the market there has saturated. Smart move I'd say.

dlads, 24 Oct 2013Do you have a 4K TV? Probably not, then whats the point? It's just wasted res and memory. That kind of talk could've been said about HD recording and larger camera sensros, bigger batteries, smarter phones, faster and more cored cpu's and so on.
Don't be so naive and delusional.
And it also just so happens that it helps improve the use of 1080p capture and of course 720p capture is just marvelous. Thanks to it's new sensor and software it topped video recording charts.

This is a pointless phone, the people who love the S4 have got it already and most people who i know will have rooted it and will be utilizing everything the 600 (not 800) has to offer.

This phone will not sell well i can promise you.

It's going to be kind of like the LTE version of the S3, major flop in development on XDA and other sites and not a great seller.

To people in the know, it's a waste of money and to people who aren't, it's just the same as the other one but more expensive, wheres the market?

Funny how Sammy can make mistakes like this and get away with it, whereas if another company does it then the after effects can be seen for years.

Did all you whiners know that Samsung is at 20th place on the international Fortune 100 list?

That means they are one of the 20 most successful businesses in the world, what place are your companies at?
Im sure Samsung would just stand up and applaud if you just went there to teach them some business sense.
Theese things are not random decisions made by some jerkoff sitting in his momas basement in south texas snorting meth and building phones by the thousands and surviving on pure luck.

Dont buy the phone if you dont want it and it doesnt make your phone useless either if you happened to just buy a previous model.

To everyone moaning about Samsung releasing loads of phones; you don't have to buy them. It's a matter of consumer choice. There will definitely be a phone suited to you, that's for sure. I love having choices.

The thing I wanna know is will it get 4k video recording seeing as it's the same chipset as Note 3?

This is silly. Samsung already leaked 20 things about the S5 and here they are still selling S4's. Whoever's getting it is plain silly.

I have the Samsung I9505, and it is a great device. Technology is changing so fast, and Samsung should be applauded for bringing new tech. to market so quickly. So what it is marginally faster, but here in Belgium we have very limited 4G, the new offering would just be pointless. No one is forcing you to continually upgrade!!

In my eyes with this cheap step Samsung is losing its honor. Comon be like man start working on the next device and not making some upgrades that people dont want by for that price because it looks lake the old GS3...

vecl, 22 Oct 2013what is the difference? +.The difference is that this new model has advanced LTE,faster, better CPU(S600 vs S800) and GPU adreno(320 vs 330). The rest are the same and it isn't new, it is just available for Europe for now only. It has been available to Oceania(on ebay, amazon, check on youtube,youtube.com/watch?v=R6zakIR7C7g) more or less the same of the I9505 and I9500 launch date and its model is E330S and can be bought at ebay and amazon like 4 or 5 months ago. @_@ Pathetic haters are making fuss about it because they have no idea at all. Check in gsmarena SGS4 E330S,LTE-A version. availability date.
