What is the difference between the 32 and 64 bit ? What are the advantages of the 64 bit ? Can 32 bit apps run on 64 bit processor?? Does android support the 64 bit ??
it's madness, 25 Oct 2013A week ago we told that s4 is struggling to sell and this week, samsung says, s4 has sold 40 m... moreDo really believe the rubbish that you talk?
Sounds like you are just bitter about Samsungs great success.
Anonymous, 25 Oct 2013people say they hate samsung because they are copy cats....well IMO people hate samsung becaus... moreThat is COMMON SENSE. If i am going to copy you OF Course i have to make it better than the original in order to sell. IMO i don't think Samsung did it any better. If you think putting a larger screen, faster processor BETTER, then i have nothing to say.
Anonymous, 25 Oct 2013people say they hate samsung because they are copy cats....well IMO people hate samsung becaus... moreLOL you have no idea what you are talking about do you?
Next time someone asks me what is the funniest thing you have read recently i m showing him/her this.
people say they hate samsung because they are copy cats....well IMO people hate samsung because when they copy, the do better than the original....
AnonD-199407, 25 Oct 2013It's all well & good Samsung bringing out a 64bit processor, but Android isn't 64bit, and ... moreWhy you all "iGenius" when speaking about Samsung and Tizen, always involve "ditching Android"? LOL
You love it? Right? Samsung will never ditch Android, and Google can not ditch Samsung.
Yes this 64-bit SoC is for Tizen, for sure. Samsung cleverly made (useless)64-bit for Apple(made on Exynos process), so Apple and their marketing machine and menial media to make the hype. Before Samsung make 64-bit SoC for their next Tizen phones, and take full advantage of it.
it's madness, 25 Oct 2013A week ago we told that s4 is struggling to sell and this week, samsung says, s4 has sold 40 m... moreI couldn't agree more. My friend was so excited when he got the S4. it's only been ? 3 months? he hates it. he thinks it's nothing but a big screen. he wants to go back to Iphone lolz
laggdroids, 25 Oct 2013Waiting for Galaxy S6/Note 5. Featuring extra flexible curved 6.9" "Smartphone"... moreSorry, you are wrong. it's gonna be an 8 inch phone lolz for the Note 5. because all samsung does is increase the numbers in each category. bigger screen, faster processor, more MP, more RAM, more GB, more Gimmicks.
Wonder how many will be saying Samsung is the best when they ditch Android in favor of Tizen, and it gonna happen starting next year.
And those that slag off Apple for having a system that totally locked in well guess what Samsung has started going the same way, with KNOX and next year 3rd party cables ect won't work unless they are offical Samsung peripherals.
You think Samsung will launch Tizen that open to do what you want with it, ha think again you be totally locked into it just like you are with Apple.
Samsung are going the same way as Apple, but what works for Apple won't work for Samsung as they are just alienating their customers more & more, which in turn will see them move in droves to other competitors in the smartphone market.
sam, 25 Oct 2013samsung! :DA week ago we told that s4 is struggling to sell and this week, samsung says, s4 has sold 40 millions phones. Do you believe this. Samsung has apologized to taiwaness that its true they paid people to advertise features that ain't working. s4 users ain't enjoying s4 at all. how come we have many different s4 have you asked yourself that question. where is mega 6.3 inches it doesn't sell. samsung are the cheaters of the smartphones AND iphone is the role model of all smartphones.
AnonD-189521, 25 Oct 2013How could they steal it when it's new technology that's available to anyone who wants it.It's ... morewhy didn't they announce 64bit prior to the launch of iPhone & why did they had to announce it a day after the launch of iPhone? It shows that iphone is the role model of all smartphones. Look at the UI of Samsung they stole it from iphone. many people bought tablets 10.1 hoping that it's iPad. Tell me what happen to samsung in taiwan yesterday.
AnonD-198936, 25 Oct 2013Selling 40 million Galaxy S4 units doesn't sound desperate to me lol. No matter what happens o... moresamsung bribed people to tarnish & badmouth HTC & iphone in taiwan yesterday. And now you talk about how samsung is the king. you must be dreaming. samsung is the real cheater in smartphone. They fake features. Nothing real about Samsung
It's madness, 25 Oct 2013next time this phones will have 10Ram which is unnecessary. Samsung are copycats. They stole 6... moreHow could they steal it when it's new technology that's available to anyone who wants it.It's a natural evolution over the previous generation, and last time I checked Apple don't make these chips,do you know who does?
next time this phones will have 10Ram which is unnecessary. Samsung are copycats. They stole 64 bits from iphone. Samsung came up with Octa now they are turning away from octa. they are now looking for INTENTION by switching to 64 bits. It's better to go to a brothel than dissipating my money on samsung.
Waiting for Galaxy S6/Note 5. Featuring extra flexible curved 6.9" "Smartphone" 5GB RAM, 4 gHz Proc(false Octa Core or maybe by that time Hexa Cores) with 64bit-apps and even may support "Palmprint" instead of a "Fingerprint scanner" and 41 MP camera, massive 6000+ mAh battery and 1/2 GB dedicated graphics. Thats what would be a "Revolutionary Smartphone"
Lol some people on here haven't a clue
Google will not bring out 64bit software just so Samsung can run in 64bit, it's not gonna happen period.
The first time you see 64bit Android is probably when the Nexus 6 launches next year so Nov 2014, and even then the uptake from app developers will be slow as many millions will still be on phones that can only run 32bit Android only, so fragmentation will be increased once more & many app developers will just stick to 32bit as it won't be, as it won't be worth the efforts to make the app twice ie one for 32bit & one for 64 bit.
The only way Samsung is gonna have 64bit software to run on it's 64bit processor & 64bit apps is to use Tizen, so hands up how many of you will buy a S5 if it using Tizen when the apps market will be none existent for a good while if ever at all, with the apps market dominated by both Android & iOS.
If the S5 launches in Jan running Android 4.4, then it's still gonna be 32bit even with a 64bit processor as it running on 32bit software, until Google decide to update Android to 64bit.
Apple like it or not have a massive advantage over Android as it's already running a 64bit OS, it has a 64bit smartphone, it also has the biggest apps market, Apple will have 64bit apps on their market sooner or later, as they force the app developers to start coding for 64bit to take advantage of the new 5s and ipads.
mixa, 25 Oct 2013Samsung are so desperate lately, pushing unfinished things, just for the show off and it ends ... moreThey popped in a 600 because of LTE support&battery life, not stability or performance.
Anonymous, 25 Oct 201340 million divided by how many variants?40 million is still 40 million, but if you actually want to know, about 6, depending on what you consider a variant. But that's besides the point. Samsung has posted record profits AGAIN. This quarter, Samsung made about 9.5 BILLION in net profit. Let's take a look at their competitor, shall we? Apple made 6.9 billion in net profit, but wait, that's DOWN from their previous years quarter, by 1.9 billion dollars (that's bad), and that's not accounting for the inflation. If you actually care to know, that means Samsung (who's apparently getting desperate, or something) made 2.5 billion MORE than Apple. So please, retract your previous statement, as it makes no sense whatsoever.
If you don't believe me, look at my sources.
