It does seem pretty convenience and cool, and the specs, they aren't bad at all
the phone is way to big. i don't get the manufactor's philosophy these days.
i would prefer a phone with 128 x 60 x 10,66 mm. this device would occupate exactly the same volume as the 137,84 x 69,17 x 8,59 mm nexus 5 but it would fit better in any hand and pocket.
the way to reduce thickness and increase length and wideness is the wrong way. a thickness reduced by 0,51 mm makes no difference at all! i am sick and tierd of companies that don't build phones that people want. and don't tell me people don't want smaller and handy phones. 33,8 million iphones had been sold last quarter.
want to innovate? build a highend phone with a S800, 2 or 3gb ram, a 1080p 4,3 - 4,5 inch screen, a 3000 mah battery and less than 120g. best specs at the same size - that is inovation! btw, a bigger screen is not a better spec.
a 5,5' phone is like a car which is 3 meters wide and 8 meters long. sure it's cool because you go so much space. but drive this car on a daily basis in paris or london or tokyo and see how long your fun will last.
AnonD-27765, 29 Oct 2013So much hype for a mediocre phone. How does it make it a mediocre phone? Specs wise it competes easily with like of Galaxy S4/HTC One/iPhone...
Stop loading porn on your phones! Then you won't cry about the memory! To be honest, I think 32Gig is a lot!
lg manufectures better smatphones than samsung .......why people likes samsung....
Its SOO easy to keep growing the phone and increasing the specs.
Its hard to reduce or maintain the size yet having greater specs.
Thats why Nexus 5 here is no surprise nor anything exciting..
I hate to say its google's last phone. Because next year nexus 6 means its a 6 inch pablet.
I think that LG Nexus 5 will going to be the biggest hit in the Nexus series and it will also increase the intensity of competition between the different smartphone to be the best...
AnonD-20358, 29 Oct 2013I could be wrong, or very rare person - but I think having so little on board memory without a... moreSeriously. There is fixed storage on every new hi-spec phone besides Samsung's, and it's ridiculous. I wish one of these websites would investigate a bit. Look at some recent press. Google's Motorola hemorrhaging money. HTC in financial woe. LG barely turning a profit, after downscaling. Their flagship phones (HTC One, Moto X, Nexus 4/5, LG G2) all share one thing in common: fixed storage at tiered prices. It keeps working for Apple and their loyal legions… not so much for these others. Maybe this is a spurious connection to make, but all these other brands just refuse to offer more storage inside the actual phone, and I’m still not understanding what these companies have to lose by offering that.
Dissapointing size, was hoping for something slightly smaller than s4.
I could be wrong, or very rare person - but I think having so little on board memory without an expansion slot is, well - pretty stupid...
My One X+ also does not have an expansion slot - but then it has 64GB on board...
The best phone on Earth, is here.
For a such price, what other phone beats that?
Samsung's Ferrari Core CPUS with Touchwiz lag and ugly UI ? or iPhones over priced locked down ecosystem ?
this phone is very fantastic phone.good memory power capacity and best feature.
