The S3 is probably the oldest phone to re... moreIf you actually read up on Sony international and not just Sony America you would already know that the Xperia NXT line (which includes the Xperia S and ion) those phones was released several months before the GS3. Which means its missed it 18 month update. Also you can't blame Sony for missing out on the Xperia S or ion. its actually Qualcomm fault for not releasing the code or whatever to allow the update.
Sold my buggy and lagging Xperia Z for a Nexus 5 Best decision ever. Soon Sony will ditch Xperia Z for the next successor of Android 4.4 KitKat.

wow i'm looking forward to the update to 4.4 kitkat for my Xperia Z1. I have already antutu benchmark tested the device which is better then any device on antutu so far. And yes Samsung Fanboys it beat the Galaxy Note 3. That being said I can't wait to how will it will do with 4.4 kitkat.

The S3 is probably the oldest phone to receive an officila update to KitKat. All other phones launched at a similar time are not getting 4.4 or even 4.3 like the Xperia S or HTC One X.

my xperia p is 11 months old, my xperia tablet s is 10 months old. Won't be replacing with sony though if they don't upgrade to 4.4.
ZR currently excluded from 4.4 update list since it is not flagship haha
