4.7 inch display...interesting (this was suppose to be the rumored third phone that was suppose to come aside the 5C and 5S)
Though a 5.5 display...nawww nawww. Apple I don't think you'll overtake the Note 3 with it.
So many haters..........
1. Look at the HTC One, it has a large aluminum body but is the best looking smartphone.
2. Isn't it only natural to have larger display? It's not copying. In fairness, It is only natural to have a square phone with square icons but Apple made a large fiasco about that.... Stupid Steve Jobs, I don't care if you're dead.
3.It's not curved glass display, it will just have a glass that curves down at the ends, similar to the nexus 4. If they claim to invent this though, bash them like crazy.
I personally don't like Apple but don't be blind bashers
These have to be some of the most far-fetched rumors I've read in a while. Allow me to pour cold water over them!
First, curved glass displays add no value to phones. They've been tried before by other makers and their use case is insignificant. If they were useful, everyone would be making phones with curved displays. But they're not.
Secondly, they are not going to ditch the iPhone's 4 inch screen size and start selling two totally different sizes instead. And while they might eventually make a larger screen phone, 5.5 inches is not gonna happen. The phablet market, in spite of its popularity among tech bloggers, is not a popular segment among ordinary consumers. Website usage statistics indicate that large screen phones make up only a small minority of users. A phablet iPhone would go against Apple's own smartphone principles of portability and ease of use. It seems people have forgotten the meaning of the word "mobile" in "mobile phone".
I would consider it more then a year behind.
having phones like the galaxy and note range, the xperia z1, and other great android phones that can do almost everything out of the box, without forcing users
to be tied into using specific software and restricting other features.
even with a bigger phone the iphone range is just a mid range model with a few ok features, and is a fad aimed at the average user.
I think gsmarena forgot to mention that we should take this news with a pinch of salt & pepper :)
Wahaha! Who is the copy cat now?
Apple is still one year behind it's competitor.
