I am from Rajasthan, India. I just called Samsung support for the query. .. They told me that update is currently available for limited baseband version. My baseband version is N7100DDDMG1. My baseband has not got the update yet. They assured me that update will unroll fastly for all baseband versions. It's all in progress . So ultimately we Have to wait for 4-5 days so that every phone can get updated to v4.3. They gave me alternate way to update my phone through service center but they also told that even they has not got the update yet. Hope this will satisfy all of you. Since we all waited so much , so lets wait 4-5 days more...##

My RAM is being used more than usual. So, it causes slowness when using big applications like Real Racing 3.
However, the lag is not visible otherwise.
Got it through kies. Finally Samsung has taken some initiative after long time for the NOTE II
i think this update is for India only, other countries will receive later.
No update yet..showing you have latest update installed. .I'm frim india...any solution?

Transparent status bar is also there.
Hands-free mode turns ON GPS and keeps it in that state even if Hands-free mode is turned OFF.
My games are a bit lagging now. I checked subway surf, real racing 3, RF 13 and Trial Xtreme 3.
Cars in RR3 doesn't respond on tap, which makes the car often go off-road.
In Subway Surf, the swipes become irresponsive at times.
I recently updated my N7100 (Galaxy Note 2 International Variant) to the official Android 4.3. Damn disappointed, I thought finally Samsung would give some love back to the customers, who went and bought their Note 2 (which was highly overpriced when most of us bought it, heck, it even cost more than the iPhone 4s, which retailed for about 23,000 something in my country at that time). Anyway, I thought the steep price point would be justified in future updates and we'd get new features and stuff so I went and bought it.
Turns out, Samsung ain't exactly that reliable. Before purchasing the Galaxy Note 2, I had a Galaxy S2, and the updates were timely, but, when I bought the Note 2, I guess I had my hopes up too high. Because I just realized, Samsung, HTC, Sony, whatever, they're all companies, not people. People have feelings, a sense of responsibility, but not them companies. All they wanna do is "raking in the dough". After the release of the Galaxy S4, and the Galaxy Note 3, my devices (the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3) fell into obscurity. I'm sure if those (pardon my language), if those f***s at Samsung didn't release their Galaxy Gear, Samsung would never even have bothered to update our devices.
Remember the 4.2.2 update that was shelved? We had to wait almost a friggin year, with no clear indication whether Samsung would really update our aging devices and give them a breath of new life. But, as the new update shows, they aren't interested in improving the customer experience, you know the funny thing about the update? There's almost little to no new features to talk about. Oh sure, we got the new video player, music player, tabbed settings etc. from the S4 and Note 3, but it was already available through custom ROMS and such.
You'd think they'd at least give us the new camera, the new improved multi-window (where we could open two instance of the same app), some new smart gestures, but no, if they did that, who'd buy the S4 and the Note 3?
I wish they were like Apple, I mean, no matter what, Apple devices surely get updates. And I know, now people would say, "Uh uh dude, you're just an iSheep. Do ya know how hard it is to do this this that? blah blah blah? and Apple makes their own software so it's easy and etc etc..."
Hey hey, cut the c**p, you wanna know somethin? While we were waiting impatiently with our S3's and our Note 2's for the update, Samsung quietly released updates for their mid range devices like the Galaxy Tab 2, Samsung Galaxy Grand (Duos) etc.
Now I'm wondering, how can it be that they're having problems to port the new software to the S3 and the Note 2, when they can update less powerful devices so quickly? Did "WE" buy a "Premium Device" just so that we could wait, and wait, and then wait some more, and silently watch, as the other mid-range devices from Sammy get updated?
Man, I'm never buying a Sammy again... My dad's old iPad (3rd Gen) has already been updated to iOS 7 (or something, I dunno, ain't much of an apple fan).
Wanna know something funny about the update? It was seamless, and the best part, he got the same update as the other iPhone 5s, 5c, 5 etc. owners did. The iPad's UI was refreshed, new camera app, etc. And I'm like, Wow... What about us Samsung? :(

4.3 Update summary for Note 2 :
1) Keyboard little bit better. Ability to switch between different languages on the fly by swiping on Space bar.
2) New UX for multiwindow bar. More apps added to Multiwindow. But not able to dock it to top or bottom. Previously it was possible.
3) RAM consumption is huge. Almost 1.5 GB out of 1.74 GB. Previously it used to be 700 to 800MB. Don't know what has been really screwed here!
4)KNOX support. Inital impression is - it feels useless. Not able to motivate myself - why I need it!
5)Camera icon changed. Calculator icon and interface changed.
6) Voice control option for camera, calls etc.
7) Device looks much sharper. Contrast has been improved.
8) Notification panel/bar huge improvement.
9) No Samsung Wallet. (Not able to find it anywhere!)
10) New lighting lockscreen effects with support for widgets.
11) Device feels little bit - very little bit faster. Not even worthy to note here!
12) New background and bubble styles for messages.
13) S Voice interface looks new and neat.
14) Internet browser icon changed.
15) Video icon changed.
16) Gallery icon changed.
17) Daydream support. Looks intersting.
All in all,
Not much improvement and not much long jump from 4.1.2.
Flagship has been treated like no more flagship.
Lesson learned - No more Samsung Phones. Hello Nexus!
