ShanArcher, 20 Nov 2013Indian price is def costlier by 100$. But comparing with apple's pricing, this gap is exactly ... morebro its the truth poor country has to pay more than rich countries. they make the poor poorer and rich more richer
Mike, 20 Nov 2013So they haven't even cover main European countries, but they heading to India and Hong Kong... lolall in good time...
I think prices will comedown after a while . They are still cheapest flagships available in market almost 10000 cheaper than sony and galaxy
Mike, 20 Nov 2013So they haven't even cover main European countries, but they heading to India and Hong Kong... lolWhat Does that mean ?
ankitanvi, 20 Nov 2013At least it is less than Z1, G2.. about 8-9k lessYeah its lesser than Z1 and G2 but in camera and battery backup it sux
I would go for LG G2 its ok a few costlier than nexus 5 but nexus 5 has bad average camera 8mp and battery backup is really bad, so i dont care about the updates and even G2 supports 4G LTE and Nexus 5 doesn't has for me G2 is best.
Anonymous, 20 Nov 2013Check the listing before replying dude...it is the 2013 editionhttp://www.amazon.com/Google-Nexus-Tablet-7-Inch-Black/dp/B00DVFLJKQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384933195&sr=8-1&keywords=nexus+7+2013
Good move form Google to sell from play store. Excepting to sell Moto G also so that they can sell at an extremely low price point. Considering retail markets are larger in India, its a toss Google has to call.
Also galaxy S4 is a good option instead of nexus 5.
Not much real world difference in performance of snapdragon 600 or 800.
16gb galaxy s4 available for 31,000 is much better deal than nexus 5.
Sorry But I will pay a little more and buy the G2 instead.
Nexus 5 has very average battery life + no accessories(they don't even give headphones)+ very average camera.
I don't care about updates...the modding community is there for a reason.
Nick , 20 Nov 2013Google play store not accepting master card debit cards in india ? anyone can confirm this...i... moreas far as i know it is taking only credit cards ( i booked mine thru mastercard credit card), i tried thru debit card it failed..
Also a few people say one has to register the card to play store (its only rumors , i am not sure)
Indian price is def costlier by 100$. But comparing with apple's pricing, this gap is exactly half the difference in which an unlocked iphone 5s is sold in US & here in india [ 5s-16GB costs 650$ & 53,500 INR which is a whopping 862$ ]. Am wondering when is the day this handset makers would reduce this price fluctuation across the geographies.
If we look at import duties etc, the pricing is justified. Phones with similar specs go beyond 40,000 in India. Samsung Note 3 launch was priced at INR 49,000..!!
Google play store not accepting master card debit cards in india ? anyone can confirm this...ive tried 3 times already
