AnonD-34979, 20 Nov 2013Records 4k videos ? I see and we don't have batteries that last for a week on a single charge. Or say a day rather than week
Anonymous, 20 Nov 2013Not even octacore? Qualcomm are getting left behind by Mediatek's octa innovations. SD600 > Mediatek octa core
so for example now, i should wait till this come out and i shouldnt buy anything in the market like the g2 ? -.-(with s800 )
AnonD-109004, 20 Nov 2013Lol nokia! Releases a phone with sd800, already became outdated! :-POh and you and my Note 3,and s4 also then outdated lol!..stop dragging any OEM in a non OEM news discussion..back on topic,i just wish there comes a day when we'l see a brand new battery tech thats actually an improvement..and im not talking bout just increasing MaH...
and now xperia z2 will run on snapdragon 800 and galaxy s5 will run on snapdragon 805, and the story of 2013 repeats in 2014....
So, judging by specs alone, does this mean that this chip will be more powerful than Apple's A7 chip on single core performance?
Lol nokia! Releases a phone with sd800, already became outdated! :-P
Anonymous, 20 Nov 2013Stop being drunk on paper specs and come back to reality. Either way, this is a 32bit chip. ... moreno point in more than 2 gb ram no one uses even that much ram 100% sure unless some app goes faulty but even with more ram it wouldn't change much 64 bit for phones is gimmick, on tablets non windows ones it might be something in few years
Dpx, 20 Nov 2013My snapdragon S2 on my Arc is still good after 2.5 years so what is exactly your problem? Yes... moreHave you tried playing asphalt 8 on your noahs ARC? Tell you now your lying if you say its playable as my old live walkman struggles with the very same chipset - and thats on a tiny 3.2inch hvga screen!
AnonD-160955, 20 Nov 2013Clocked at 2.5 GHz and better GPU renderer??? Whoa....., what a monster of the monster!!! ... moreStop being drunk on paper specs and come back to reality. Either way, this is a 32bit chip. Can't support 4 gb of ram.
people here seems to be ignorant or stupid
don't you realize that S805 is smaller than the S800
Smaller = Lower power consumption
as for me i'm waiting for samsung to come up with a 14Nm chip if not then i'm totally going for the New Snapdragon 805
I'm expecting these chipsets to be in the Nexus 10...or at least Next year high end phone models :D
Snapdragon 850/900 will most likely have these specs
Quad core 3.2GHz krait 500 64BIT
And this will most likely come in the Xperia Z2!
