One Week? They don't last for a day of full use, jajaja
I Agree whith You, we all need more battery life.
In other side one glass that not broke in the first drop, I have 4 friends whith Galaxy S3 and S4 destroyed in the first drop.
Mark Fauzii, 20 Nov 2013Clocked at 2.5 GHz and better GPU renderer??? Whoa....., what a monster of the monster!!! ... more320 GB SSD storage and 6800 mAh battery in a 6 mm thin phone? Bwhahahah! I don't know what $hit you have been smokin', son, but you got to step out of your dreams once in a while.
Not even octacore? Qualcomm are getting left behind by Mediatek's octa innovations.
mobile chip manufacturers can make pc like raw power mobile SoC if they want which is not the case, they want to suck people's money slowely
Clocked at 2.5 GHz and better GPU renderer???
Whoa....., what a monster of the monster!!!
Now I have a new dream since this SoC released: My dreamy smartphone, at least, come with:
- Latest Android OS with highly optimized & tweaked skin
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC
- 5.25 inch Super AMOLED Display, 2560x1440, 560 PPI
- An 20 MP camera with OIS plus dual Xenon flash
- 320 GB SSD storage, 4 GB RAM
- 6800 MaH battery
- 6 mm of thickness
- Aluminum/metal chassis with very thin bezel
Whoaaa.....It'll be more than enough.
Anonymous, 20 Nov 2013console grade gaming!!! really? whats the point? do you still want it to make calls? At least make it able to emulate my ps3 game or something.i can't just take my ps3 (and tv) everywhere.lol
Cool dude, 20 Nov 2013Yep.so that i can do a lot of stuff like auto cading or maybe console grade gaming.i don't wan... moreconsole grade gaming!!! really? whats the point? do you still want it to make calls?
Aligned with the announcement of Mediatek's MTK6592 8-core chipset.
Is this a coincidence? :-)
Anonymous, 20 Nov 2013do you really need a 64bit processor in a phone?Yep.so that i can do a lot of stuff like auto cading or maybe console grade gaming.i don't want to carry a laptop or console everywhere.you know what i mean.:-x
amirhdyat, 20 Nov 2013Sony xperia z2 will equip this GPU :DNah, the Xperia Z2 will have whatever comes after this: probably 64-bit, with Adreno 430.
Hany Farid, 20 Nov 2013To be Honest I don't think a 3200MA battery would last 6 hours with this beast If it lasted 6 hours with the GPU at max load, then that would be amazing.
Love innovation. One thing I desperately like to see is battery life improvement.
It would be great to have phones and tablets lasting for a week with the screen on all the time.
Cool dude, 20 Nov 2013lame.this isn't even 64 bit.lame.i was expecting something better.disapointed.anyway, anybody ... moreWhat advantage does a 64bit processor have over a 32bit processor if all other specs are the same and RAM is below 4GB? None.
stobs, 20 Nov 2013about 10 years ago, 32 mb in a phone was overkill.
2gb ram in a computer was overkill
an 80g... moreUnfortunately there will always be technology illiterate people like you who will be tricked by higher numbers. Of course a more powerful processor will always be better and more RAM will theoretically allow more possibilities and performance.
But things like ppi do have a limit. An average human with average eyes just won't notice a difference between 440ppi for example and anything above that. So the ppi race is one race which is solely marketing. Processor speed and ram races however are good. but making a screen with 4k resolution and 900ppi is just a waste of processing power as the GPU has to render stuff in such detail which you won't notice anyways.
Titanuim, 20 Nov 2013So when we bought our Snapdragons800 devices Reviews said its able to go 2 to 3 yrs. Now they... moreMy snapdragon S2 on my Arc is still good after 2.5 years so what is exactly your problem?
Yes, they change it every year and yes, it is good for 2 or 3 years, maybe more. What is exactly that you don't understand about it?
The idea of the dedicated image processor and the new more economical modem seems like a great idea! Do go on!
I really hope that the ppi race will stop now, we're already at around 440ppi.
I know that technological advancement is always good and back then people also said enough is enough, but people have to realize that there literally is no difference between say 440ppi and anything above that. it'll literally look the same.
