i will not be surprised if samsung will have a 64-bit chip, dual LED flash, fingerprint sensor and slow-motion video recording, they're good at copying anyway.
the logic is simple guys, no need for a long argument, come to think of it or should i say think deeper guys, if apple smartphones didn't exist would samsung smartphones would exist? probably it's NO. apple company was the first who had the touch screen mobile phones and incredible apps like social, gaming and even lifestyle. accept the truth samsung fanboys, that samsung only copied apple's innovation, if you can't afford to buy apple products why force yourself? if you really can't? c'mon guys, dont be so over dramatic about samsung. and accept the truth that apple is the most innovated technology and samsung cannot beat it :)samsung should had make they're own design of software and different, with that maybe i can say that samsung can really compete with apple.
I've never really liked Apple because of the way they behave as a company, and don't even get me started on their pricing. The products are good, but I loathe the strategies that they enforce with a passion of 1000 blazing suns. Apple is a patent hog. It is indiscriminate of whether or not it was actually the inventor of a said technology. If it wasn't patented, they'll claim it was theirs; relevant or not(REMEMBER THE PATENTED CORNERS?). They openly deceive the masses through media hype, withholding information and straight out lying; Totally unapologetic. They even have dubious claims like their phones are the fastest, lightest, most advanced, etc... and they don't have qualms about this. First of all, a smooth UI does not directly reflect processing power. It's like saying that a good personality and eloquence means that you can solve complex mathematical equations mentally. If you are easy on the eyes and easy to deal with: does that automatically indicate a high IQ? Have trouble understanding the analogy? Try to research about the things that iOS have to give up in order to achieve a smooth UI with the hardware that iPhones pack. They claimed that the Iphone 5 was the lightest and thinnest phone when in fact a phone that beats it in those parameters was released months ago. I could go on for hours and hours about this, but sadly I do not have much time. If you're wondering if any of the things I've been saying are true, do your own research. You have a brain; use it. I trust that you can get their on your own. I own Apple products, I don't have problems about their products: They are good. My problem is with the company and as soon as better options come out: I'm totally ditching crapple. I've already started with my phone; the tablet is next in line. This has little to do with quality although it can be an entirely valid argument on it's own for choosing other products and services. It's about the principles you believe in and encourage; Not to mention there are tons of products that offer a lot more bang for the buck.
Apple : hey sammy , i’d like to make sure you have enough parts for my iphone 6 .
Sammy : sure business is business , we won’t let you down but how you like to sattle the payment next time ?
Apple : no worry we got judge koh last time and now we even got Obama , so you know what i mean ?
Sammy : awww ic , always pleasure to do business with you :(

The company was founded in November 1990 as Advanced RISC Machines Ltd and structured as a joint venture between Acorn Computers, Apple Computer (now Apple Inc.) and VLSI Technology. The new company intended to further the development of the Acorn RISC Machine processor, which was originally used in the Acorn Archimedes and had been selected by Apple for their Newton project. Its first profitable year was 1993. The company's Silicon Valley and Tokyo offices were opened in 1994. In 1997, ARM invested in Palmchip Corporation to provide a system on chip platforms and to enter into the disk drive market. In 1998 the Company changed its name from Advanced RISC Machines Ltd to ARM Ltd. The Company was first listed on the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ in 1998. Apple's shareholding had fallen to 14.8% by February 1999.
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2013Has there been a jury trial outside the US? Apple won in Germany. It was against Motorola not Samsung. Apple's lawsuit against Samsung was dismissed. Get your facts straight.
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2013You can't say that. Samsung may not have invented the phablet but they did turn it into market... moreYou should read a dictionary my friend, or if I was unable to understand the train of thought you were trying to convey: You should learn how to construct better paragraphs. The innovation is not in the marketing nor combining of different technology to achieve a new device; those are just the means. To innovate is to change a working idea in favor of a better one; in the case of Apple, it was in showing the world that an almost exclusively touch screen dependent form factor can work for mobile devices.

AnonD-78875, 22 Nov 2013Apple's comment is making me throw up. And not just in the funny way. It's literally hurting m... moreYou know that's right. The people at apple are a bunch of hypocrites. The Iphone's concept is not even original. The innovation is in Apple improving the user experience to a point where it was viable for use in everyday life and in my opinion they have not contributed anything noteworthy ever-since. The results of these trials are not even reliable. The trial is in America, and Apple is an "AMERICAN" company: You'll be lying to yourself if you think that it will not affect the verdict one bit.

Apple should be ashamed of itself. They have bought several companies which had some patents which they own now. And they claim as if all of them are invented by Apple employees. Why is that outside USA, Samsung has never lost a patent fight. Bloody Americans
AnonD-121779, 22 Nov 2013I say it again. They all copy! Samsung electronics not its President won a decision in the USA... moreThe President vetoed it because it would have had a direct negative affected consumers. He did not veto the ban on the Samsung devices because it covered obsolete devices that were no longer on sale. If you want to talk about preferential treatment of a government, look at Korea. The Korean cell phone industry was saved because of gov't action there. The only reason everyone here knows more about Apple is because the operating language of it and its leadership is in English. There's a reason no one here ever quotes anything from a Samsung CEO or exec.
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2013Many people here talks like they do know the facts about the patent being in dispute. But appa... moreSeriously? It's not like Apple can't hire an equally good or better lawyer. So your conclusion that Samsung is guilty because of the reason you stated above is moot at best.
Samsung may not be copying Apple (or anyone else) intentionally. But the problem is, they need to launch 50 phones per month, so they don't have time to think if they are violating others' patents. Just think, 188 are only Galaxy phones. Non Galaxy are apart.
AnonD-977, 22 Nov 2013Apple don't sell $49 phone's, cheap, underpowered Android phones with 240x360 tiny screens lik... moreCheap..? Do u think half the American people could afford an iphone if not given on 2 year contract? just do some research on this before screaming CHEAP. Samsung creates phones for all categories of people , that does not make them cheap. And the way apple was given veto from white house speaks volumes about US justice and fair trade pratices.
Many people here talks like they do know the facts about the patent being in dispute. But apparently nobody has stated any thing about the actual facts, and gave judgement without prejudice. In every court trials facts are the most important, experts opinions are being considered as facts too. If Samsung lost it then there could only be because their defense sucks or they are guilty.
Weak defense is not likely to be the downfall on this one, because they can hire the best lawyer and best expert to represent them.
