I purchased Q500 and faced two major issues
First is the too much heating even after small usage.Second is there is very abnormal noise when attending calls. Even the caller from other end hears buzzing noise. The same noise is heard when playing videos taken by phone. Really disappointed and don't expect these will be solved by customer care. Total waste please don't buy any xolo phone. - Kanti

I agree with the fact that galaxy s is better in terms of quality and service but for specs it is one of the worst phones.
Galaxy s duos has a single core processor which isn't capable of handling tasks smoothly. The phone always lags like hell even with 768 MB ram.
It is a quad core phone by the way with 1GB RAM which is times better than s duos. Make sure you don't copy your crap everywhere and keep check on what you post.
Hi my name is shobhan. Today I'll share my experience about xolo q 800 mobile. Please take a minute to read this before you hit buy.
I purchased xolo q 800 mobile about 8 months ago. I liked the Handset very much for its features as well as the hardware. Unfortunately, after using it for around 6 months, suddenly the touch - screen of the phone started to behave erratically. Sometimes the middle of the screen won't register a touch response. Initially I thought it must be because of the quality of the screen guard I was using. But later after few days I removed the screen protector and started using it. I was still having the same issue. Anyway I was busy with my works and didn't bother much and went to a local shop and I bought a premium quality touch screen protector this time. Three days later I noticed a thin white vertical line on the screen slightly to the left of the middle of the screen. And it was constant irrespective of any application. Clearly the pixels were dead on that region. This time I was irritated. Of course this was the second new issue with the phone on top of the previous problem of non-responsive touch behavior.
I called the xolo toll free help line no and told them everything. They arranged a pick up service for the faulty phone from my location on 25th September 2013 via FedEx courier and I was provided with a tracking no / docket no and a notification no(support ticket no) via mail.
That was it. That was the last time I saw my 11k (approx) worth phone till this day,the 30 th Nov 2013. I wrote around 30 mails in this regard, called the xolo care for around 20 times but each time I was told that -
" Dear Customer,
Thank you for your Email,
As we have checked your handset is still under repair and we have escalated your handset status to our service team. Soon we will revert you for the same.
For further information, kindly call our toll free helpline 1800-30-100-104 (Monday to Saturday 10:00am to 7:00pm) "
And of course in telephonic conversation -
"We are very sorry. Your handset is still under repair. We will despatch your mobile as soon as it is fixed."
It has been 2 months I have not heard any positive status. It is really frustrating now. Don't know if I will get my phone back or not.
You guys should understand that when the mobile is fine, it's fine. But once it starts giving you problems, you will for sure end up in deep shit like my case. Better think about the after sales service before buying this. You know what, the mobile has got 12 months of warranty coverage and out of that 2 months already spent in service center. Bitch please!!! This is all bullshit...
You will gain some interest money in 2 months if you put that 11k in a bank. Think about it. I made a mistake; please you folks don't repeat it after reading this.

Samsung can very easy make high end phones, even GS4 and Note 3- dual SIM(do not doubt about it), but can not sell them there. Even if Samsung try to sell high end dual SIM devices at full price online, the telecommunications companies will be mad, and can refuse the deal with Samsung.
That's why only low end DUO's are available- full price is low and easier to sell.
