Microsoft is trying to do the same by aproaching HTC to put Windows phone OS in their current android mobiles so that people can try and compare both OS running on a single device. Lets see who wins the race.
Hell Yeah :D :D :D
Wouldn't mind trying it out :D
Always on the lookout for something new :D
I think this is one brilliant business plan. Jolla could find themselves on many consumers' hands.
Yes i would like to install it but I doubt if it can be installed on an entry level device.
Sailfish OS looks slick and fresh and it will be a refreshed experience for android users...
But will it be availble for entry level devices?
Reviewers complain about Jolla being slow and laggy and apps crash to often and apps even start randomly, and Sailfish is very bad and hard to learn, and Android apps do not work well at all on Sailfish!
AnonD-35392, 02 Dec 2013Agree with the people who say they'll only do it if it can be undone, just in case it doesn't ... moreOn android almost everything's possible
I have tried ubantu and Firefox os and now I am back to stock KitKat
Agree with the people who say they'll only do it if it can be undone, just in case it doesn't work right or you just plain don't get on with it.
Also to the people complaining their phones are stuck at GB, you realise the phone still works, right? I mean only nexus devices and google play editions have 4.4 at the moment but those phones still running previous versions haven't become obsolete and useless.
When is the estimated released this OS to android? Really excited because I love the previous Harmattan OS in Nokia N9. That's the best OS for me.
My old, trusty Google G1 is ready for this. Don't laugh, they said "ANY Android device"!
I`m also interested in upgrading my android device i thing new way to use android phones
