But what about kitkat update for Galaxy Grand ??? Why has it been left out... :(

anyways at the end of the day to each his own.
ssan, 09 Dec 2013stop spreading FUD , iOS 7 is so much buggy as hell.
Facetime crashes , app crash , frames dr... moreiOS 7 on my iPhone 4S works great. No problem there. Smooth as always. Other storage bug is already fixed in GDR3. Other than that everything else is extremely stable under WP8. As for Android, here is the list of bugs below. I still have couple Android phones in the drawer.
basushaunak, 09 Dec 2013I double that!
Would really love to know the 'advantages' though of both iOS & WP over An... moreI used all three OS.
This is what I came to conclude :
1.Best Visual Design has to be given to Windows Phone 8.Its simply awesome. Its so modern and beautiful. The flying tiles/animations and app design are superb. The entire design just gives amazing experience everyday.
It falls apart in so many aspects.
2.For gaming , iPhone is the best choice for frame rates and performance , No other devices comes even remotely close to what iPhone can do but unfortunately the small screen is the biggest con for it.If you play games like fifa or dead trigger.
Putting each thumb on screen covers almost 50% of the device giving very little space to see.
Its also very narrow in portrait.Very awkward.
So , Overall experience goes to Android here while for visuals iPhone takes the cake.
3.I think Ugliest OS out there is Android.Stock design is incredibly boring and I don't know where to start.
The settings screen is laughable. Most higher age people find it difficult to even read that screen.
I think Google used no common sense when designing holo.
Android is fortunately customizable and tweakable with Launchers and ROMs.So , it can overcome those difficulties.
App-to-App Sharing , Openness of API's , True Multitasking capabilities , ability to choose default apps and Awesome Variety of hardware choice keeps Android ahead of both iOS and WP in many fronts.
Google Now , Google Services Integration and Choice of various skins/stock give consumer one of the best experiences.
For Enterprise sector , Blackberry and iPhone are still the best.WP8 is still somewhat limited.Android is nowhere near.
For consumer market , All three are equally good.
MobilePowerUser1, 09 Dec 2013Android 's hardware fragmentation is the big reason why they take forever to get software upda... morestop spreading FUD , iOS 7 is so much buggy as hell.
Facetime crashes , app crash , frames drop etc.
Even iPad Air crashes as pointed out by anandtech because 64-bit OS is being used on a bottle necked 1GB RAM hardware
WP8 has many bugs , I don't even know where to start.
Other storage bug is a small example for that.
Go and see forums , the other storage bug is EVERYWHERE.
Not to forget the GDR2 update which bricked HTC 8X devices.
Android 's hardware fragmentation is the big reason why they take forever to get software updates. WP8 are all using Snapdragon and iPhones are all using PowerVR SGX. Android has too many variable in hardwares. That's why it's way more buggy than iOS and WP8. If you look at gaming consoles, they have same hardware, so the games run exactly the same on those consoles. The more hardware fragmentation you have the more buggy the software gets.

damasta, 08 Dec 2013hahaha in your face, I will get kitkat to my s3 and your s4 mini may not!
Just kidding, I a... moreYes buddy d phone is amazing and scores well in d benchmark tests too. I dont see a reason why d S3 which is not able to run Jb 4.3 properly is getting an update 1st, also d benchmark scores are way below S4 mini. I should remind Samsung dat no of cores dont matter its d quality of d single core.
Good luck on that -- Still burned by Samsung saying ICS would come to its phones that were running GB -- Remember the SGH-T959V "Galaxy S 4G" that they and T-Mobile dropped support for even without releasing a buildable set of kernel sources? It's still stuck on a 2.6.35 kernel.
[deleted post]I double that!
Would really love to know the 'advantages' though of both iOS & WP over Android apart from the usual bullshit like 'more stable', 'less resource hungry', 'Corporate ready', 'not stealing my data' because:
1. I am using an Android device (one or the other) since 2010 or may be 2011 (don't remember) - don't remember too many time times my OS has crashed/ phone got hung or something (in computer terms - that is the definition of stability).
2. Less resource hungry: Who cares? If I am paying 60k or 50K to get a phone - why the hell should I opt for a dual core / single core phone with 512 MB RAM? So that the OEM can make shit load of money for the software?I don't think so... Let the hardware manufactures make some money too...
3. Are you absolutely sure? Or is it that Google alone is admitting it?
4. Corporate Read: How many smartphone users are corporate employees with a corporate usage policy, please raise your hands.... ;-)

(between you and me how much they paying you ?)
I am no fan of samsung but I do wish they continue on with this plan, that way all other OEMs will follow suit LOL, this in turn will benefit all us android users.

ios all the way !!! and this coming from an ex android user that used android from almost the start with my sgs1 wich was the best ever all the way till sgs3 and when the iphone 5 came out , android just was history to me ! and i think all of you will experience that , and then you will have no regrets at all for paying that extra money !
