Just purchased a S650 - unable to find the link to download desktop version of Mobile assistant. Calls to support center at malaysia was futile! any body who can post the link ?
Battery life...Well the Lenovo ROM has a Power Management feature(PS:only 1 custom so far if you're interested). It all comes down on how you use it.I even got 2 days.
Camera:Big surprise there.Takes good photos even in low light.
Like i said ,I paid 210 USD(DHL shipping) got it in 4 days.
I'm not advertising but it's a very good phone for it's price.
I just got the S650.Nice device for it's price(i paid 210 usd shipping included). It's not going to win a design award but looks better then most higher priced devices(case squeaks a bit as a minus),runs smooth(i got 17000-17200 in Antutu MT6582 standard),the camera is more then decent.GPS is decent (I got 35-43 SAR, first cold start lock in 1'22'' and a 2-3 meter accuracy on a open road)and I found out how easy MTK's are to flash.
Whit the MT6582 and MT6592 MTK has reached an interesting point.
Lenovo is worthy brand. Stylish, reliable, fast and inexpensive. I use a Lenovo S930 and I love it! Chinese are now actively enter the western market, prepare, soon you'll be using their phones ;)
I'm glad that there are a lot of knowledgeable people here in GSM Arena!
To those who have been saying that there are a lot more inexpensive yet better phone than this, hope you could also provide the exact models so that we may research further if it's available in our market.
Please do take note that both models are Dual SIM so kindly recommend/compare to Dual SIM phones only.
Thanks in advance! :)
Anonymous, 13 Dec 2013So because something is cheaper means anything else not as cheap is now a complete ripoff? Wha... moreNo, its just that this mediatek stuff isn't worth any more than the smaller brands are asking for it. Cortex A7 processors are 1.7 times as weak as Krait. So that 1.3 Ghz you see is really 0.76 Ghz accounting for the fewer instructions issued per clock. It's a very slow processor that only looks good on paper to people without much of a clue.

Anonymous, 13 Dec 2013Other than that how has your experience with it been. I was very curious about the device? The... moreI used to have the K900. Its a very beautiful phone, best I've ever seen barring none. The screen is excellent. Its on the large side, no small bezels, but extremely thin and quite light. Feels like a sheet of paper in hand. But this is largely where the positive news ends. Battery is annoyingly small and the processor and screen draw it down quickly. Processor has disappointing and inconsistent performance. You absolutely need to put the chinese vibe rom on it or it won't even do menu screens smoothly. Several apps will conflict with the Intel processor and run like sh*t. For the price you can get it at these days I think its a decent buy, but its a phone that requires a skilled and patient user. If you are one, you can make it work and it will be quite awesome, but frustrating sometimes too.
AnonD-146453, 13 Dec 2013Lenovo's support for the K900 has been marginal. It's my first and last Lenovo.Other than that how has your experience with it been. I was very curious about the device? The large sleek slender metal body and A-15 like Atom seemed very enticing. Usage, apps, sunlight, battery.

AnonD-39334, 12 Dec 2013THL brand Android phones. Google it.So because something is cheaper means anything else not as cheap is now a complete ripoff? What astounding logic.....Try harder
I believe the phone market is like meeting someone, if first impressions of the devices dont work...people aren't going to keep coming back. Lenovo isn't going to be selling many phones
The reason the S930 weigh less than the Mega 6.3 is because Lenovo used a smaller battery. No thanks.
these phones are avalable from China for some time. Through dealers S650 costs $186 and S930 is $256 with worldwide free shipping. great savings.
