AnonD-35392, 12 Dec 2013There are different patents in question, the american case is mostly that old galaxy s series ... moreWhat difference does it make if the Judge is an iPhone user?
Do you remember the court case where a Judge ruled in Samsungs favour, then shortly after joined them?
That's much more fishy.
Bouncing back patent? Are you fucking kidding me? Go make a patent for scrolling up/down since it's the way in today's world. These kind of bs deserve to go bankrupt.
"Apple, of course, sees it differently: "We are glad the Korean court joined others around the world in standing up for real innovation and rejecting Samsung's ridiculous claims," said Steve Park, spokesman for Apple Korea."
LOL. Nice words Apple.
And then you ask: "why apple keep doing the same devices???" Because spend a lot of time trying pull down samsung, while could make something amazing for the own consumers...
Anonymous, 12 Dec 2013Don't understand this reply, if in Apple's home country the decision is the same as in Samsung... moreThere are different patents in question, the american case is mostly that old galaxy s series phones look like I phones (a bit, from a distance, if you squint) and that apple were apparently allowed to patent a rectangle with rounded corners. Whereas the Korea case is about SMS technology and display. Both courts have decided in apples favour but about different issues. The reason The American case is seen as unjust is because the judge is an iPhone user and is therefore not impartial and objective. And when you're deciding which company has to pay the other BILLIONS of dollars an objective, impartial look at the evidence is the only fair way.

The two countries have the same verdict and decision so the two must be equal and fair together. No country is biased in this matter. Correct me if I'm wrong.
"We are glad the Korean court joined others around the world in standing up for real innovation and rejecting Samsung's ridiculous claims,"
That Statement, I want to kill them. Want all of these patent wars to go away though. It hold back from the development of the industry.

I'm not sure about the true story, but as far as I know, Samsung blatantly tried to copy iPhone's hardware design, UI, icons etc. It's clearly evident from the cheap phones Samsung keep dishing out. What an utter shameful and disgraceful act by Samsung!
