Unless they have a faster CPU than the freescale 369mhz and omap 2420 dual cpu @330mhz used in current generation they will find it hard to compete with devices from htc, palm, rim etc i hope they use at least a 400mhz cpu like n810.

Nort to be surprised by the date. This is the date they release flagship devices. The n95 was released ears exactly 2 years ago on this date.

Probably be available on Vodafone first, also don't trust Play.com, they normally charge more than other retailers for high value products so the price'll probably go up in the coming weeks.

Looks like Nokia is holding off on showing their entire hand this year until after the N97 is released. Seriously, it doesn't look like that big of a performer. A communicator replacement with an N badge... probably not the best placement for it. This probably should have been an E91, but the lack of quality in the OS probably caused them to steer clear of the E-moniker less they piss off people like they did with the hardware faults in the E90. What's next, Nokia? This is hardly your flagship. Very few N95 owners will be happy with this form factor. I want to see what's next.

I don't think this really counts as a confirmed release date. Websites put up dodgy release dates all the time. If one were to take these as an official announcement, Final Fantasy XIII would be out by now. Sorry but it touches a nerve.
