The choices of ROMs produced by CM are limited to the chipsets that have opensource drivers, on other like Sammy's these ROMs are always half baked, there will be trouble with major h/ware like radio, camera, audio. Moreover it always takes longer to get a build at par with google's official release. A final build is generally superseded by nightly of later version.

Everyone who had a neo v knows how laggy its ICS was
If you have any problem with cyanogenmod built by developers tell them to fix it, and if they don't listen, you fix it!
I had a xperia live with Walkman running cm10.1 and it never did lag or show any bugs (except 720p recording which was Sony's fault)!
Using a nexus 4 now!
Please somebody post a web site which gives a definitive, functional, safe and friendly procedure to install 4.2.2 bug free in an oldschool galaxy ace plus S7500L.
God bless you
For me it's love and hate story going together for last 3 years. For my phone I always get unofficial version and I never found this to be stable. But it is the only way I can enjoy few of newer features. But anyway .. congratulation for achieving the milestone.
Good job Cyanogen. I am part of that number that has benefited from their excellent work.
Cyanogenmod is simpliest way to get open source based and secure operating system. The easiest way to get rid of unnecesary proprietary software which collects and sends your private data to remote servers "to provide better service".
Only using open source OS and applications you can be sure that your private data is safe.
hope you realize cyanogen is going the non-free way now, the longer its supported for free by the community, the more annoying it'll be to fix the proprietary stuff they had in the long run.
I maybe a minority but I don't see anything special about these roms. Sure they are light, they more or less are google speced roms with some xtras and maybe preferable to people with phones with loaded ui and bloatware.
They look awful. Pathetic really. Icons...
They have quirks. And app doesn't go as fast for some for example, the browser isn't always as fast as stock, the sound reproduction is almost always inferior despite DSP handling and so is the camera.
Tested on nexus and xperia phones.
Sorry but with todays cheap specs I don't see the point. Better root go superuser and just be done with bloatware than having to use cyanogen.
I love to use CyanogenMod on my Galaxy SIII. Much better than touchwiz. I used CM 10.2 and 11. And it's stable than TouchWiz Android 4.1.2 and 4.3. Proud to be a part of them!
CynogenMod is way better than stock Android, that's why I have it installed on my crappy lagdroids. All the best for 2014. It's been a joy to be part of CynogenMod.
Full of bugs it's this for my mobile phone(Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V).I try all CM9.1(Stable) and CM10(Nightly)---all are full of bugs,I repeat!
Who the hell uses there roms still. They are so lame an basic id rather use ios and that is saying something
