5" not a phablet - 5" + is aphablet - cause if you count s4 , Z1 , z as a phablet then it will be 250 million phablet solled not 175 M .
Jillxz, 23 Dec 2013I have the Verizon LG G2 and can say that it is definitely not a phablet. Samsung Galaxy Note... moreYou are deeply right, because what matters the most is how the phablet is convenience of daily using taking into consideration your nice petite fingers !
Personaly I agree that over 5" is phablet because of no one hand usage.
I just went from Samsung S3 (cracked the screen) to iPhone5 and I can say YES to bigger screen (up to 5.5") because I play regularly and read news daily;
Also I say YES to smaller, lighter and well crafted phone for convenience.
My question is: after I repair the S3 what phone I will I choose?
I see more and more people on the street using phablets, especially Samsung Note 2/3 and Mega, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and occasionally LG Optimus G Pro. I am not fond of phablets though, as I prefer 4.5" to 5" range.
his guess is totally wrong bcoz usually many phablets are expensive except mega 5.8 and 6.3 and upcoming 1320 and many some micromax,karbonn, xolo and equally developing company's flagships are only priced at
Phablets will kill off carrying around a tiny iPhone and bulky full size iPad. It's all about consolidation and convenience. Same thing stand-alone GPS is dying off because that function is consolidated into the phone. Plus, phablets like the Note 3 has more DRAM than iPhone and iPad combined which coincidentally suffer from frequent low memory crashes.
I have the Verizon LG G2 and can say that it is definitely not a phablet. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 definitely is a phablet. I am a petite lady and have small hands. The LG G 2 is the perfect size for me. Also how it is designed makes it easier to hold.
Protocol, 23 Dec 2013In the US, iPhone beats all the phones why? Because most people care about one handed usage. ... moreIn the US as you claimed,most people actually do care about bigger screened phones but the fact that almighty Apple has not deemed it fit to provide them with larger phones leaves them stucked with their tiny IPhones..
Personally, I want a phone that's just small enough to carry but big enough to use as a tablet and spend a few hours comfortably viewing web pages on the couch. Anything between 5.5-6 inches is ideal for me.
5 to 5.2 inch is ideal,more than that is too big for the average user.
i remember the time when many said original note was a failure. now phones are coming with note size. and i dont see anyone making a high end mini phone(except z1s, dont know where this thing will come).
