The start of demise of apple.I was planning to buy i-phone but i have shelved my plans.
Anonymous, 31 Dec 2013Again it's better than Android in security because: 1-iOS doesn't have viruses.NSA will look ... moreHe doesn't know a thing about what he is saying! iOS doesn't have viruses? Oh alright! Pft!
What is it that you guys just dont understand. You just dont get it. I have been ranting on for over a year about Google (Android) security issues, iPhone, and WP devices that also leaks. I have seen really clever 20 year old guys crack Android devices like a pack of cards, and in our business some people have been able to do some staggering things with iPhones. Why are people just so gullible is beyond me. For better or for worse, this is why we must have Blackberry survive. You have to be a fool if Government or secure business, and use an Android device or iPhone. You have to be totally nuts.
Chinese government discovered the iphone was spy phone years ago, so abandoned all high level employer use iPhone many years now. they can use android though, because it's open score, everyone can check it out, if any Backdoor were there.
Anonymous, 31 Dec 2013Yeah because the govdrnment doesnt already have your fingerprints when you applied for a passp... moreNo the government does not have my finger prints or an acount to link it to goof. YOur phone is a walking computer everything u do leaves a trace its juss allot easier to trace back to you Lol but anyway unless your a big time criminal it dont matter
Old news i've been able to do this for years, android too.
Catch up NASA, u don't hear that often ; )
Omg that is laughable, and them little sheep who crow on about how secure iOS is compared to android, thanks guys, just goes to show that No software is secure if big brother wants to look in, another reason not to choose iOS ....... :-)
Omar Mohamed, 31 Dec 2013Now I know why they used finger print scanner.Lmao lol
Never had virus on Android and used Android near enough from day 1..
"NSA would need physical access to the device in order to install.."
Yeah, they can't do that in 2008 (this document date), 6 years ago, but by now they should be able to do that without need for physical access.
Assuming, of course, that they said the truth. Do you still believe whatever they said by now ?
As security expert has said, never trust a "secure" system that is not open source.
Apple iOS is a closed-source software, they can have security hole, backdoor, & spyware without you ever knowing.
I'd buy an antique Nokia N73 or N95 then there will be no NSA or anything.
Android user for nearly 5 years now, also puzzled by these alleged "android viruses" which I never come across before.I'd quite happily let the NSA install this on my phone, maybe they could make some sense of the crap some of my friends text me,'cos I sure as hell can't.
The only way how to protect your smartphone is to install an open source operating system and applications.
Do not sync user data with remote servers, but store your contacts and data on device only.
Do not allow any third party application to run with root privileges or access your contacts, messages and call history.

1-iOS doesn't have viruses.NSA will look ... moreMy dear friend, being an android user for more than 3 years and using it heavily, would you care to explain what are those so called "android virus" you talk so much about as I have never heard of them?
