AnonD-222297, 08 Jan 2014Will this model be coming to South Africa ?South Africa? No. You want one of the Z1 models (likely the C6902) instead.
The Z1S is created for the very unique 3G/4G bands used by T-Mobile USA, along with branding and operator lock.
Saad, 07 Jan 2014Heard this had a plastic front and back instead of glass? Can anyone confirm this? The front and back are glass. The frame is plastic rather than aluminum

AnonD-199361, 07 Jan 2014As petty as this may sound? I perfer the international version as opposed to the T-Mobile vers... moreI totally get what you mean. One of the reasons I didn't buy the Xperia Z was because I liked the Z1's "Sony" logo MUCH better than the "Xperia" on back. Was waiting for this on T-Mobile in the US. It's awfully sad they decided to brand this with "Xperia" instead of Sony :(
Jason, 07 Jan 2014Probably costs over 400 USD. I'd rather get me a LG Nexus 5.Actually about USD 580 including taxes.
AnonD-221412, 07 Jan 2014it comes to 528 USD for 24 months.. cheaper than the original Z1 >_same thought it seriously cheaper and better than original z1
