Whilst i almost gave up, this is good news. Good work and its good business sense to have some sort of diversification in your portfolio. Sure keep going with WP and add a alpha/numeric phone keypad option for messaging to those but also bring this Normandy to life and add 1 x high spec Android to the mix that is pocket-able. you have the capacity and know how to do something - good. Don't get caught up unnecessarily in the trap of always and forever higher and higher and higher spec as there is a good solid ground where enough is ok and you will strike the cord with most and become a classic in your own right.. . . tick..

Actually, is Nokia allowed to put their resources on other platforms, any terms and conditions that prevent Nokia from doing so by MS?

Nokia should focus on Windows phone,it is becoming strong now,i know nokia windows phone sell very well in South America, and Nokia 520 have been one of the most successful phone in 2013,now know if people can accept Nokia to be android again
Enthusiasm will be extremely limited for a phone running any of the mentioned chipsets!

The Untouchable, 09 Jan 2014The only Nokia Droid that I would seriously consider buying is a Nokia Droid 41MP Pureview wit... moreO yeah, the CPU should at least be the S805, and with a 64GB of memory capacity (expandable of course - a 64GB card included would make it perfect). They should try making this Nokia Droid version. First they could just announce it and see if the preorders won't surpass 1 million in the first minute.
The only Nokia Droid that I would seriously consider buying is a Nokia Droid 41MP Pureview with UHD video recording capability, FHD @60fps, 720p @120 fps and a 4000 MaH battery inside. Wouldn't that just be a killer?
It's just a lowend phone. Future Asha phones will be using Android OS instead of S40 platform. And it's forked Android so it won't have Google Play access. It's not meant to compete with nor replace Lumia.

Nokia couldn't survive and thats why Microsoft owns it. They needed to do that before they hired guy from Microsoft as CEO. Microsoft will better destroy Nokia then let android come to their phones.

Glad if it is really the Project N of Nokia. Nokia, you are still the best for me and this is way to success.
Anonymous, 08 Jan 2014very bad news, also how is that possible??. android is a very insecure OS you can find in the i... moreYes, your Nokia should be very secure. Probably doesn't have bluetooth, wifi, memory card, and only send SMS as make calls.
Nokia = Secure? Since you are a very old Nokia costumer you certainly remember how secure Symbian was.
And I don't even wanna think that you assume that are any secure system nowadays. -_-
Another false information?! Where's the video instead of pictures?! Liar!
If it'll have a good hardware design and good specs then may be I'll get one, but then again, it's an entry level device. Expect this Nokia Android KitKat won't be getting any further updates or upgrades because on February, Microsoft will officially be taking over Nokia.
