some cheap brand drop off a platform and went for window

if soon expire very good, why they drop the UIQ ??

Look at SE and Samsung's ....SE is now into Windows Mobile with Xperia X1 + they got their A200 Platform!
Samsung has the i900 Omnia which runs on Windows Mobile, and i8510 INNOV8 runs on Symbian - they got both of the OS's!!!!
With Nokia all you get is S40 or S60!

Well, not surprising at all to me. I pointed out earlier unless Nokia improve their battery longevity in terms of talk time they may face same in the upcoming years. They just develop their handsets but the battery performance is poor. They must put their effort on it. However I am not a Nokia fan but I hope Nokia will overcome this pitfall with times. The sign is already showing their new released handset 5800 Xpressmusic. It’s Battery performance is better than ever for Nokia. They compromise here with the photo shooting performance. I always say No to No.Kia but I wish they will overcome because lot of people still loves this brand. SE is the best choice to the tech lover. Wishing for good going SE in the coming days. Once again No to No.Kia.

If Nokia wants to dominate the market share then the Touch Symbian OS needs to be something special. It has to be fluid, fun to use, and eye-catching. If they can't accomplish this then Nokia should consider turning the Android. The HTC G1 is underwhelming hardware-wise, but because people are so intrigued by the android OS, they've been selling like hot-cakes. Nokia should at least allow a coded version of Android for download and use with their devices on their official website, or just ship the phones with Android period.

its really very bad to see NOKIA quality has dropped down a lot since the end of 2006 were it used to be NO#1 in the whole middle east but now everybody is looking for Sony-Ericsson and Samsung as the best mobiles company exists up till now with great mobiles and more great mobiles software as well as less maintenance for the mobiles and software too,
look at the Nokia 5800 music express everybody complaining about it a lot, Nokia tried to be creative but unfortunately they fail second all Nokia prices rock the skies compare to other brands and features too, HARD LUCK NOKIA

making phones w/ same features and just packing them in different designs doesnt help much, guys make something different, samsung uses different OS for their phones, same w/ LG and others, one thing that irritates me is that most of nokia phones does not charge over USB,

You know what? This is great for us consumers... second banana brands are giving the larger ones a run for their money; and that is good. Take it as a wake up call for companies like Nokia and SE... Wake up and smell the coffee!! It´s not about market shares... its about giving customers what they want and need in an attractive manner and fulfilling their needs...

The Cookie has been a sales sensation and the local shop down the road has sold more Renoirs than C905s. LG UI is crap, I'll agree on that but they seem to know what the public really wants, unlike the zombies at SE who are content with releasing 2 year old phones with low end features.
