I've been waiting patiently for the s5, after having the s3 since launch. My upgrade comes in March, but isn't so beneficial as before (new customer price vs. $150 off current price), so i'm not so sure.
Anyways, just had to say that this comment section is OUTRAGEOUSLY lacking in spelling correctly or any idea of how to string together a sentence. Bizarre
M and M, 12 Jan 2014Yepp, anyone can explain me why do we need a 560 ppi screen when we can't distinguish over 350... moreYup.
Agree, that 560 ppi is a bit too much, to be useful.
You are wrong about human eye , though. Do not believe the Messiah. Good human eye is around 477 ppi at 12" distance. Well, even if one wants to look closer it should not be more than 500-510ppi.
But who told you that S5 will be 560ppi, that you have this spume on your mouth?
Stop complaining about the lag... That is the Snapdragon and the RAM is all about. True that Android was lag. But this was PREVIOUSLY. For now, it could be say almost as smotth as IOS.
The upgrading is so little, but call it innovation..?
P/S: Dont get manipulated by these Phone manufacturer
I do not want a 2k display, just bring back the FM-radio and make it able to survive "droptests"/accidental drops, and make it less slippery!
I always love the statement about "premium, metal unibody" , and why not "fingerprint scanner" . LOL
The "Experts" are never tired, to underline the supremacy of their lovely Apple.
Only that no one, but the izombies buy "premium, metal unibody" and "fingerprint scanner" with huge bezels. And they don't buy anything , without Apple logo on it.(see HTC One sales-lol)
Normal ppl will never trade swappable battery and SD for sealed cheap tin-can for smartphones. They even don't trust the tin-can for denting, electric accidents, and it's feel in the hand.
M and M, 12 Jan 2014Yepp, anyone can explain me why do we need a 560 ppi screen when we can't distinguish over 350... moreProbably this will help your understanding better. Let innovation bring its way. Don't suppress it.
AnonD-223649, 13 Jan 2014Even if Samsung comes up with an unprecedented phone like with a multi tier parking in the bac... moreSure it depends upon the user, how they treat the device...are they know memory management, etc.. Im S4 user, n theres just 2gb internal memory free n 3gb free memory of 32gb microSD in here.. but my device still running butter smooth as the begun..
My s4 i9505 is super smooth.. it depends upon the user.. if the user is noob so is his phone.. 90% cannot tweak his phone only those few knows..
Even if Samsung comes up with an unprecedented phone like with a multi tier parking in the back, or 3 horns on the top and a screen that shops for you, they can't fix the lag in their phones. I have a GS4 just because I hate apple. But Samsung has no talent in creating something that Apple created 5 years ago, a smooth-working phone.
Jay, 13 Jan 2014Can't wait for sammy's neXt big thing.About 8 weeks to wait...

AnonD-134497, 12 Jan 2014The real question is, how many people will buy S5 since "Millions" who bought S4 and... moreAll the S3 owner like my self and the note 1 onwer that want to have a smaller screen.
Why they don't wait to launch in the next MWC? Oo
That's an excellent moment to launch, yeah!
But, right then... London? Nothing bad, but "we have" the MWC! (#facepalm)
Anonymous, 12 Jan 2014I like all the specs so far except for the 2k display . I think full HD Is enough specially wh... moreSo what :D. You could still boast, that your phone's resolution much higher than most TV's and monitors (excluding the 4k's and 8k ones). But still it's sad that Samsung decided not to use amoled technology on 2k displays (probably).
