I.scorp, 17 Jan 2014hi every one,for sure this phone is an amazing and awesome and could be leader of flagship as ... moreI would want to have an HTC one mini, great design and built quality. But the price is just unreasonable. Hope they fix the pricing with this one before they realize it's too late, like what happened to BB.
I.scorp, 17 Jan 2014hi every one,for sure this phone is an amazing and awesome and could be leader of flagship as ... moreSounds like this is the only mobile you sell and you are trying to protect your business.
Previous news said that is may be BUTTERFLY 2 with a waterproof design :( !
hi every one,for sure this phone is an amazing and awesome and could be leader of flagship as original one did.the one won best phone, best design and best gadget in T3 ,pocketlint and .... . don't boring or something else.when htc one grabs the crown of 2013 with lower hardware, for sure it can does again.cause is the htc technology.best design, best performance, best handling and .... the ultra pixel in one was first experience and htc can improve it. only experts can find out htc or apple.i am waiting for buy it.zoe, blinkfeed and ... are excellent.(phone seller and re paring manager)
i wish that the camera should be of atleast 8 MP with OIS.. that way its gonna be great
HTC One Two : AWKWARD name!! They should name it HTC 2. To create their flagship phone simple and easy to remember by people. They should name it as catchy as possible to sell.
Bigger screen don't care, twin flipamajig camera no interest. Boring boring boring. Keyboard and massive battery please.
Anyone find it funny that the device is named as One 2( One two or 1 2) LOL. I am really smiling on the fact that how will I call it in public, "Hey, have you seen my One 2":p (no offense).
Now on the topic. If and only if the price and the updates are being promised reasonable for this device along with the marketing, it will sell along with the improved camera.
This is everything I wanted and more from the HTC one, not sure it will all come true though. I am also not sure about the QHD as I think full HD is all you need for a 5" screen but more then that I am now worried about battery life. I'll be honest and say I'd rather have 4-6 extra hours a day then a QHD screen. Also will be interested to see how the camera is, 6-8 megapixel with a dual lens should do me very well. Lastly it would have been a disaster if HTC released the snapdragon 800 as that is last years tech and most people like me would have this phone for 2 years, so you really do need the latest just so by the time you upgraded your not lagging or crashing a lot. This is something that Android needs to improve on, both decreased performance with updates and battery drain.
dave22, 17 Jan 2014I have the htc one max, there is no way that im gone buy the next htc max with 4 ultra mega p... moreHey, I tried the HTC Sensation camera. It's not as good as my Nokia N8 but it is still a very good camera. HTC should improve that one, not the ultrapixel one.
5" QHD res? Aaaaaand I bet they will keep the battery under 3k mah. If so, I will skip this phone.
As hardcore user of HTC products I would like to a new phone in 2014 that has the body of HTC One S or HTC Evo 3d. I want those phones with latest software & hardware & OS. please, HTC. HTC for life no matter what
Protocol, 17 Jan 2014If the camera resolution will be just 4 MP then it will be just another failure. It's not 2007... moreI have the htc one max, there is no way that im gone buy the next htc max with 4 ultra mega pixel, its really bad camera, even my htc sensation had better Camera.
Protocol, 17 Jan 2014If the camera resolution will be just 4 MP then it will be just another failure. It's not 2007... moreThey should just make a normal good camera. Put Xenon on it instead of "ultra" gimmicks. I remember HTC Evo 3D which had two 5MP cameras and was supposed to be competition to Galaxy S2 - very soon it was sold at total discount because people didn't really need 3D. Then came One with "ultrapixels" to compete with S4 and again, Samsung sells better. This doesn't sound good for HTC although they make great phones.
Maybe 3D recording with those two cameras? + snapdragon 805, +finger scanner, + beautiful screen, + great design, + much more.... HTC is back!
oreskec, 17 Jan 2014twin ultraPixel camera is probably so it can shoot 4k ;)
and 2560x1440p is really unnecessary... moreActually, this is a misconception about "not needing more than 300 ppi".
It's true, maybe average human eye can't see more than 300-350 ppi, but..you SEE the difference in the smoothness of the image...the way that the colours blend.
So, as long as this resolution don't slow down the phone or consumes too much battery...it's a nice addition.
HTC also has some sort of innovation up their sleeve. That's what makes them stand out so much. It's a pity that such innovation is not matched by their sales. I just hope this year's flagship is as good as what the One was last year.
