Abdul, 21 Jan 2014Let's compare xperia M with moto g :-
1. Xperia M is Multi-touch upto 4 fingers moto g No
... moreabdul i dont agree with u..
1)moto g has 5 finger touch..
2) the best part about moto g is its screen its a 720 pixel display dont compare it to 480 pixel display..
3)scrach resistant glass doesnt even comes near to gorilla glass and moto g has gorilla glass 3 which is only used in high end phones..
4) moto g has 1.2ghz quad core snapdragon 400 cpu which gives it a benchmark result of 17000+ in antutu,
while all the phones to which u r comparing moto g doesnt even cross 11000 in antutu.
core and grand quattro are below 10000 in antutu benchmark..
moto g is a real performer..
only drawbacks are microsd card and nfc..
AnonD-226329, 21 Jan 2014i dont understand u guys , what the hell r u guys talking about. Nexus 5 16gb costs $350 and w... moreRight now in US motorola g price 179 dollar convert to indian rupees 11,000 nearly, if u add some tax 12.5-13k. But 15k without any reason. No chance for moto g.

... moreI was thinking along the same lines. The price alone cannot determine the decision to buy. The NFC is not that great a parameter to judge as much as after sales support and performance degradation over time and resale value in market after its useful life(though this is the least important factor to consider)
I think Moto is a great phone through and through but their strategy scares me. If they are not themselves releasing the phone instead relying on online stores without a word about after sales service then I'm seriously going to think before putting my money on the Moto despite the fact that it has a few minor improvements in the display department and software optimization and maybe, the camera
Just two factors, just the two
1. Price
2. After Sales
Failing which I'd pick the Xperia M gladly over a poorly planned Moto
Eagerly waiting fir it to come in the Indian stores.l know all things about the device.
moto g for 15000-16000 8gb then... then its a flop show
moto g for 15000-16000 8gb then... then its a flop show
Abdul, 21 Jan 2014Let's compare xperia M with moto g :- 1. Xperia M is Multi-touch upto 4 fingers moto g No ... moreThanks, for the good comment about Moto G.
i dont understand u guys , what the hell r u guys talking about. Nexus 5 16gb costs $350 and we are getting it for rs 30000. if u reduce that to half $175 is the approx price of moto g in US for 8gb. so considering that 15000 is okk price for moto g. On top of that we are getting a dual sim version in india. thumps up for that..
Plz dont compare moto g to local indian brands just have a look at moto g benchmarks and then speak.. Plz try to think logically about it.
The only major drawback is lack of service centeres, but motorola will definately figure out a way for this problem.
and also after 4.4.2 kitkat upgrade otg still works u just have to install otg support app from playstore..
Let's compare xperia M with moto g :-
1. Xperia M is Multi-touch upto 4 fingers moto g No
2. Xperia M have NFC but moto g no nfc
3. Bluetooth both have 4.0
4. Both can play 720p videos
5. both have 1gb ram
6. Xperia M have Removable battery but moto g non-
removable battery
1. Xperia M scratch resistance glass and moto g have
corning gorrila glass
2. Xperia M have 4 gb internal memory with micro sd
card slot but moto g is have 8 gb internal memory
(No micro sd card slot)
3. Xperia M front camera vga but moto front camera 1.3
mp.
4. Xperia M dual core but moto g quad core.
(Sony have service centers but moto g have no service centers) Right now some mobile stores giving @11.5k but normally u will get Xperia M @12k. Price will be important factor in india. Let's see http://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=5497&idPhone2=5831
some one told me that 8gb dual sim will be rs13500 and 16 gb dual sim will be rs15500 .
@15k-16k for 8GB variant Moto G no longer remains as the 'Budget' phone we were expecting it to be
Besides, the dual-SIM variant kills any hope for support over at XDA for extra goodies that only come with the single SIM flavour
If this is the case then its really sad. No, really very sad.
Xperia M and Galaxy Core are the only ones left to consider as an alternative to Moto at that price point
I better import from US if they release with price tag of Rs.15,000.... Any thing greater than 12k is not acceptable (many better phones are available)
Google should launch it 16 gb model below 15k then it will purchase by indians
Yes Should not exceed 12999K for 8GB 13999K for 16GB, 14999K for dual SIM
i was expecting it for 12k to 13k for 8gb and 14k-15k for 16gb. but i cant buy 16gb for 15k or 16k. this so upset
Jay, 21 Jan 2014I bought this phone in US. Phone is really super.. I got this for 12800 - 16Gb vari.. what ... moreDual sim in india... :(
i will get one if it's cost is 13k....
Yes, i too agree. 16GB should not exceed rs 13000
Sanket, 21 Jan 201416GB should not exceed rs 13000ya you are right. with no after sales services it should be priced around 13K for 16 gb
