"The transparent status bar, new print feature from settings, and immersive full-screen mode will be included."
Do you mean The transparent status bar in White? Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 doesn't have on-screen buttons so no point having full-screen immersive mode.

Lets hop the KK update is better bug-checked than the 4.3 snafu.
It will be a no-go for me due to the poor / virtually non existent flash support (even with the hacked flash apk)
Anonymous, 22 Jan 2014When will be kitkat 4.4 update available for s4?Yes, what of the S4?
Well guys I am deeply sad that some of you are having problems. I had a S2/S3 & S4 with the slow updates I got fed up. Samsung will give KitKat to the Note 3 & S4 first before giving out the updates to 2012 products. End of March means not everyone will get it. It will be seeded slowly. Carrier subsidized models will wait longer. I've switched to Nexus 5 yes its kinda boring and it needs an update to 4.4.3 I don't really use all the features that Touchwiz long live Nexus.
4.3 update for GT-I9300 S3 now available in the Philippines... at last!!!
My S3 still 4.1.2.. Still waiting for 4.3 update but now it says S3 will get 4.4.2 update.. End of March? I think i expect mine to be update later dates... Haizzz
On a side note, Samsung is the only company with this awesome support of their phones. The Galaxy S3 will be over 2 years old once the KitKat rollout takes place, and it still gets the newest Android just 3 months later than Nexus devices. Personally I applaud them. Their support is even better (longer) than Google's for their Nexus devices now. Great job.
"The transparent status bar(..) and immersive full-screen mode will be included."
lmao, obviously Samsung phones already had that in Touchwiz long ago. Is it going to become even more transparent now? ;-)
does 4.3 update needed to update it to 4.4? i didnt update my software to 4.3. ITs still 4.1.2
Can Samsung please release any update of 4.3 or 4.4 for Galaxy Note 10.1 N8000/N8010/N8020 and Note 8? S3 and Note II are having their updates but the other two Galaxy Notes which was release later after S3 and Note II are stuck with 4.1 update. Please Samsung. I own a Galaxy Note N8000 and im stuck with JB 4.1.2. I love my Note and i dont want to change it with the 2014 edition.
Chupacabra, 22 Jan 2014Note II is already running Kit Kat 4.4.2 via Cyanogenmod 11.You can't possibly be THAT dumb dude. Do you not know the difference between OFFICIAL update and "custom rom?" Smdh
Anonymous, 22 Jan 2014Not to mention...It already got December updates. Therefor events that already happened contra... moreIt got 4.3 in December which was announced in July! And that has started to roll out in November, aka the last month but got pulled out coz of bugs! Now the updates that it gets will be firmware updates and not android upgrades!
If it gets 4.4, the it will take atleast two more firmware updates to iron out the bugs! That will make the phone getting updated for over two years since launch! Hence I say that 4.3 was the last update, and non-android upgrade updates will keep rolling out for as long as Samsung wishes too... That's not against the Google policy!
And there was never any confirmation, just rumors, no official statement!
Next you will say that galaxy core will get 4.4 coz it was confirmed. No, actually it wasn't just a paper leaked which could have been made by anyone lets say a fan! Everyone says mega 5.8 and 6.3 will get 4.4 but only mega 6.3 will get it, the 5.8 won't....
But rest assured note2 will get 4.4 coz its update cycle is still on, though kitkat will be the last update!!
Fans expect way too much always... Be realistic!
Is there going to be a fix for battery related problems in 4.4? Having 4.3 on my S3 really annoys me :(
