i hate android for a stupid reason that i has so many home screen. windows is superb.. simple and good..but i found that in xperia z1 we can reduce home screen to 1.. this is not possible in samsung... samsung is all plastic with dumb wiz... and there is always 80% chance that ur samsung is fake... so many duplicates.. something samsung has to work on.. they need to incorporate chips for original vs duplicate.. i have personally seen them.. u cannot differentiate... samsung time is over.. they have to shift to premium material, unique original finders... camera part they lost to nokia and sony, far ahead..
The main reason I would not buy another Samsung (I've had three Galaxy models in the past) is their poor support.
Why do they think that they can support a whole new OS, when they can't even fix the bugs in their Android ports, is beyond me.
Plus, Samsung has always had terrible UI ideas.
w/ tizen... samsung could be the next apple... own OS.. own environ
One of the biggest reasons for Samsung success is that they were not responsible for the OS.
We will have to wait and see what Tizen OS has to offer to conquer Android!

That was even before Wp8 was released. Good work. Please do us all a favor and give an up to date link not one from 2 years ago.

Check it out. That article was from 15 November 2011. There wasn't Windows Phone 8 in 2011 and you're saying Bada OS had more sales than all the Windows phone combined. Ridiculous. I have had the Wave 3 and it was frustrating to use because there wasn't many apps and most of the apps and games were compromised on quality front and the OS itself was a rip off of Symbian and it would hang almost all the time. If Bada OS wasn't a fail, Samsung wouldn't have ditched it for Android. The reason for Bada OS's death was because of the superiority of Android OS compared to Bada OS. If you wanna troll successfully, at least provide up to date sources to backup your claims.

Nobody needs that tizen. All the hype they create about it is rubbish

Samsung failed it to use Android instead "Maybe Google had a deal with them or paid them to ditch Bada, like Microsoft forced Nokia to ditch Symbian", Bada OS was super OS i used it in Samsung Wave S8500 its the best phone ever i still use it every once in a while.
Tizen is Linux so it should be able to use any Android app/game, so why not make a deal with Google and make Google Play one of the available app-/game-stores for Tizen phones/tablets/laptops...? Google can make money on every app-purchase made from Tizen users!
""What devices?" you might be asking yourself – so far only a camera has been announced, a variation on the Android-powered Galaxy NX."
Seems Tizen is dead before launch.
Not shocking though, Samsung is not good at software.
A new OS means more fragmentation, harassment for developers. Remember Bada OS? It was a failure and Samsung dumped it from their support list. So if Tizen fails, Samsung will do the same and that is, dump the OS from their support list. We already have Android, iOS, WP8, BB10 and a newly released OS by the name of Sailfish. Sorry, Samsung, we don't want more fragmentation and ten phones a day with same looks.
