AnonD-3606, 28 Jan 2014Hope it sells under $150 and doesnt come infected with the 99% malware found on the ShitdroidsCan you give us one example of android malware bothering you? Only ONE, that will do.
I know what you are thinking now, that you can lie your way out of this to defend your worthless comment. Go ahead, make it even worse for your cred.
Its low end phone which replace asha series phones.
Price may be under 6k.
Wow thats gonna suck so much if it really is an Android fork, A5 processors are pretty useless even in quad configurations. I would buy one anyway though, if it had led flash, cant have a secondary phone that i cant bring to party or anywhere else after dark, im too old to go to bed early evening and not old enough to go out in daytime taking pictures of flowers and trees to enjoy my retirement. Plus we all know that no low end phone can take pics indoors without flash even in quite good light, need somewhat high end phone for that, i would almost say that low end phones need led flash more, and thats why we find them on china feature phones that cost $10 (which also proves that a led flash cost virtually nothing), but Nokia dont understand this.
Looking at the design, it's indeed targeted at low-end, Asha users. So Cortex A5 should be enough. Specially to suppress the build cost for low-end market.
Their own app store??..what the f*ck is wrong with nokia...
why dont they just allow access to google play store..
My only questions is WHY?
With even the most basic of low end phones coming with a minimum of 1GB or RAM, why still launch something new with a entry level 2011 spec?
That Nokia are moving into the Android playing field is a big plus for them as I for one have use a Lumia 925.
Great pieces of hardware with the only set back being that the Windows Phone still at an incubating stage as compared to Android 4.+ and iOS7.
This is just for sampling purpose! But I think it's gonna pay off for Nokia.
really?!?! a cortex-A5 chip? you better sell this crap no more than $100 USD
Hope it sells under $150 and doesnt come infected with the 99% malware found on the Shitdroids
Higher-specced device would be a slash in Microsoft's face so they fear it. And we all know high-end Android Nokia would be so much better than Windows Phone OS.
"you will also be able to install third party apps by sideloading them"
Does this mean I can sideload the Playstore app? :D
Price is a big deciding factor.
If price is too high, nokia gonna fail bad!..
And its a bad sign to use "X", Just like moto X.. another junk phone.
If they put high end specs on it the sales of Lumia will be down. For me if Nokia was not part of Microsoft surely they put latest snapdragon on it.
if NOKIA use High End Specs for Android, LUMIA will End that's for sure..
