i dont get the idea of such massive size
while keeping the internal storage at still the same level it were 3 years ago
internal memory offered is max of 32 GB
and micro sd cards top out at 64 GB
and we see devices with 16 gb fixed memory and yet shooting videos at 1080p resoultion
the whole memory is full with a 5 minute clip
I hope this new LG G2 Pro does have an option of expandable memory.!!! I would love to buy it.
D79_, 04 Feb 2014People are constantly moaning about the video camera is to high res.
Has anyone ever pla... moreYou're confusing bitrate to resolution, playing HD on a VGA screen makes no difference, it just so happens that HD videos more than often mean high bitrate encodings, which result in a clearer image.
Although I have no doubt 4k video is a good thing, doubters are just too blind to understand that more resolution means more footage to play around with in post-processing, such as cropping.
People are constantly moaning about the video camera is to high res.
Has anyone ever played a HD video on a VGA screen, yes a VGA screen!!!! Well you will see that the HD is soo much clearer than a VGA video and thats the same as a 4K video on a 1080p screen, I have the Note 3 and the 4K is much clearer on a 1080p screen so how about stop all your winning.
If you don't like or want a 4K video camera then don't buy it, simple!!!
AnonD-79766, 04 Feb 2014Also a cool feature of this phone is that it will never recieve software updates like the 1st ... morebetter than some buggy phones which receive update more often to fix bugs.
Jarret, 04 Feb 20144K video for smartphones? Stupid idea!I know you are talking about Note 3.

You will get the kitkat update very soon - by the One & S4 are on Android 5...
Don't worry ;-)... Its all in LG's plan of things...

It's completely lacking. I'm a G2 owner, and I miss the Note 2 Camera.
The G2 camera is slow, focusing in Video is crappy even when done "Manually". Photos are over exposed, smeared, OIS is barely noticeable. Note II did just fine without it.
They say Kitkat update should improve the camera, but where is the update? Samsung and HTC already seeded kitkat to it's users, LG is taking it's time unless ofcourse I was Korean.

I hope you know that 13mp camera is standard phone nowadays, 4k video capture is actually very good on these phones, of course it is never going to be fantastic like witha. 4k recorder but like everything, this is set to be mainstream as 4k is rolled out, the one thing if anything that phones do not and will never need is 2k or 4k screens, but again many companies have or are developing both

4k its the next gen of videos like hd was in the first place.
Jarret, 04 Feb 20144K video for smartphones? Stupid idea!Agreed I imagine that less than 1% of the world population have a 4k TV! Really whats the point? Just a gimick IMO as most users will never use this feature.
Also a cool feature of this phone is that it will never recieve software updates like the 1st G Pro. A real advantage of g pro lineup.
