1080p only? LOL! What a fail! So outdated, already ancient! Maybe you guys don't care but if I can count all the pixels then it's unusable, and I have an eye of a hawk! Only Retina is good enough for me. True mobile comm. professionals around the world agree that it's not some techy-sciency number-magic like 1080*1920 what is important (who can multiply that on the fly anyway?) but good companies and even better brand names like Retina display.
1080p? 1440p? FHD, QHD, 4K this, 8K that? Who cares? By clinging onto these you only bring shame to yourself. Retina display! Now that's something everybody understands, value and admire!
1080p is not only insufficient for gaming and movies but even for a simple task like makikg a phone call.
A friend of mine lended me his Galaxy S4 because I needed to make a call and I felt like I'm in the medieval and instantly felt nausea, disgusting big pixels everywhere. Not the user experience professionals and enthusiast are looking for.
(OK, I lied, the guy with the S4 is not even my friend, as I would never befriend someone with a phone with such a low-low-res screen).
And about this S5. Maybe I buy one for my dog, so he could chew it and bury it in the garden. But I'm a bit afraid that it would be even mediocre as a chew toy.

Don't worry. The other variant, 805, will be on the way along with 805 Active, 805 smart, 805 Zoom, 805 Duos, 805 curve etc etc....

And these benchmarks are a smokescreen, the true benchmarks will be much much higher.
Anonymous, 07 Feb 2014We want the newly released Nvidia chipset Actually you don't, not if you plan to mod your phone anyway, nvidia having a say in things means that your phone will be hard to mod, just look at the one x, that was a pain in the back side, the asus prime.
Some mods work just fine but having different hardware would make life easier for the people who do the hard work.
I cant believe that last years flagship, LG G2 is without a doubt only 10 % slower. But the price difference between an S5 and G2. Definitely going for G2.
First of all, reduce that 10 percent from CPU power and 50 percent from GPU's.Then we talk again.
Eddie Quist, 07 Feb 2014if its not 805 this will be dead, EPIC fail, disaster!805 is not ready!
